Well, excuse me for trying to be a clean boy...

 

There is no advantage to showering, for what reason would Rockstar limit the frequency of a shower?

you can sit a mic on a fan or something and just farm rp with showering if they didnt limit it.

I had no idea you could sing in the shower, I thought you both were trolling! So I looked it up and it turns out you can, that is hella funny!

I can see that happening in the future... RP is so hard to gain, you must grind shower singing for it. Some of the things Rockstar puts limits and restrictions on are hilarious.

Yeah... the RP bonus at the strip club is good for a laugh... Don't be surprised if you get kicked / banned from xbox live though.

One time I had my character in the shower and put David Lee Roth's 'Just a Gigolo' on my radio near the TV and put the mic up to the speaker.

 

"Humala bebuhla zeebuhla boobuhla Humala bebuhla zeebuhla bop" LOL. Fun times. Though as said above, a person could put it on repeat and rack up way too much RP so I can see why they would limit the amount.

Wow you actually survive the whole shower scene.Remember that in Gta World 2 minutes equals 1 hour.So if our character showered for 5 min they actually showered for 2hours and a half.You are lucky your character doesn't wash his skin off.

As everyone has said, you can sing in the shower for extra RP.

 

IIRC the game was also patched to tru to detect true sound inflection, so no more putting your toon in the shower or going to the strip club for a lap dance and leaving your hot mic by your computer speakers or your stereo system while you went out for a couple hours.

You get 20 RP for every full bar, and it resets the bar 5-10 times I think - so you can get 100-200 'bonus' RP.

 

You can sing, breathe heavily, tap the mic with your finger (I used my finger anyway) or blasting some 'tunes' into it.

 

I hadn't been in my apartment and used the shower for weeks/months, until last night after taking a tour of my new apartment at Tinsel Towers.

 

I didn't bother to try to get the bonus RP, but did notice it was going up anyway.

 

Not sure if it was background noise or not, but it was going up, more slowly than normal.

 

I even made up a 'shower song' when I first found out about the RP thing, before I realised you don't actually have to sing... :lol:

Also works if you are "flirting" with one of the strippers at the Vanilla Unicorn. IIRC you don't get RP but producing noise on the microphone increases the Like meter.

Yeah, I think it is referred to as 'bonus' RP - so just a bit of fun, not 'serious' RP like you get for racing, or parachuting :lol:
