You must have been poor as a kid

Which is the way it should be, It's better to be born into a poorer family than a rich family because you learn independance earlier you realize how hard the outside world is before the richer snotty kids do and a tougher life normally makes a tougher person. I personally prefer being poor to rich simply because I don't like the way the rich act, They only care for themselves and disregard the poorer and less fortunate plus they get everything handed to them at their [email protected]# from a young age and never learn the true meaning of hard labour or what it feels like to earn something.

Referring to unknown rich people only, The type of rich people who own yachts and limos not people who actually give to charity and don't consider themselves above everyone else in every way (People who went from poor to rich).

Totally unrelated to the topic I know but I just feel really strongly about this sort of thing.

Dominator for racing. Sabre for looks.

Why not both, The Sabre is cheap to mod and when modded it can win races when in the right hands, therefore earning money to mod the Dominator

How could you say no to that face?

Not to mention she roars down the street, sounds epic, lots of customization options.

Dominator is alright.

Gauntlet is generic barely any options.

Picador is nice but not a lot of options either.

Vigero has a lot of options but the Sabre totally one-ups the h*ll out of it.

Pheonix is wonderful, lots of options.

Ruiner isnt as awesome but still nice.

Buccaneer is pretty BA, you can give it a black beauty or supernatural look.

Basically you cannot go wrong with the right one. With 20 garage spaces available now you should get two.

Ok, I ended up picking a sabre!

All black matte, all upgrades, no turbo. Damn, that thing is BADASS!

Thanks to a brainfart I didn't take a picture though.

I've had them all and in my opinion it's got to be the Sabre Turbo or Declasse Vigero for the best feeling muscle car performance/sound/handling package. The modern ones are, well, modern and the others are either a little slow or just a little too tail happy (even for a muscle car!). The Ruiner is ok but I still class muscle cars as a 60's/70's thing.

I never thought I would say this, but I'm seriously considering getting a muscle car. As a long-time Japanese and European car fan, I have always kind of despised muscle cars. I now see they are not the enemy (yeah I know, kinda cheesy) and want to bring one into my car collection.

I'm thinking about either the Phoenix or Vigero. Are these any good for cruising/customization/satisfaction, or would anyone like to weigh in and suggest something else?

They are both amazing in all aspects but so you can make a choice based on your perferences, If you prefer a heavier car that does burnouts and drifts easier the Phoenix is for you but if you prefer a lighter car that takes the corners a bit better, grips the road more and makes for a more responsve but predictive drive then the Vigero is more to your taste.

Choose wisely because once you drive one you won't want to drive anything different for a long time ;).

This is why I own all the muscle cars, especially the classics... each one is fun for a different reason. Definitely the most fun to tear around in IMO :sly:

I already have a Futo and Schwartzer, which seem to be really nice for tearing it up. Will definitely try this with a muscle car, too. Thanks for your help.

True and I have a Vigero and love it. My friend has a Phoenix and he loves it, after the driving both it's all about your personal preference and what design and handling you like. I prefer the Vigero just because of that "feel" when I drive it. Try both if you have a friend with one and then choose whichever one you like more.

Buffalo MKII sounds the best.

Buffalo is a sports car...not muscle

Gauntlet has the best handling of any muscle car...not many options to modify tho...it was my 1st vehichle ever in GTA 5 so it has a soft spot in my heart

Same here. First car and still in the garage.

I would like if R* added some other mod options to be put into place for the cars in updates. Even some new cars. I would love to have some more power and speed added to the Picador.

GTO 60's and 70's, would love to have The Judge though. Monte Carlo, Malibu, Hemi Cuda, Hemi Road Runner, Boss or Cobra Mustangs, Older Charger and Challanger... Just to name a few.

Why is the Sabre so hard to find? They spawn all over the place, except for when I'm looking for one.

BOOM: LeMans Camaro

I personally enjoy muscle cars in GTA:O as well as in real life. I have a lot of fun ripping up the streets and sliding all over hell in the process. I have received more compliments from my muscle cars then any other car in my arsenal.

In the end it is all about personal taste. I love American cars from the late 60's and early 70's and my GTA:O garage reflects it. To me, there is nothing better than hitting the road in a car that can slam you in your seat and one that you can hear coming a block or two away.
