Convince me to get a Muscle car

Now that we have room for that, I want to add a Muscle car to my collection.

 

I don't intend on racing, so don't worry about speed and awesome handling.

 

I just want a car that has some nice customization and engine sound.

 

Maybe the Sabre or Dominator?

EDIT: After all the opinions you guys gave me, here is what I got!

 

All matte black turbo-less Sabre. What a beauty!

Bravado Gauntlet. It's fast, stable and looks great IMO. It doesn't have much customization tough.

 

If you want customization, go for the Declasse Vigero or Albany Buccaneer.

Get the Phoenix , looks great but not the best handling. Just picked up a vigero, probably my new favorite muscle car. Sabre is nice too as you mentioned. Wouldn't get the dominator personally, it's decent to drive but looks bad IMO. It all comes down to personal preference

If you want sound and custom options go for The Sabre Turbo,but leave the turbo off of it...ruins the otherwise beastly sound of that engine

You can't go wrong with a Phoenix. its 1 of my favorite car.

The customs for it are very good.

hate the Ruiner...one of the only muscle cars I dont own...but to each their own...BTW that Rat Tail exhaust is horrid

personally I dont like the Dominator that much either....too unstable,I only have one cuz of the rare races where there are long straightaways....I also like The Buccaneer,which has a lot of custom options and is also the only muscle class car that spawns as a gang vehichle.If you can find one it has many of the upgrades already done for you.Not a fast car but looks cool and easy to handle

I love their engine sounds and you also have some customization options..

Yes, the Dominator isn´t for everyone. But it´s not slow around corners: it has good grip, the problem is it´s terribly balanced and it´s very edgy. The other one I like is the Vigero.

I'm really into the Sabre's engine sound without turbo, just not sure if its worth it or it will be just too slow

I'd say go with saber of phoenix. They both have a fantastic variety of mods. I think they're about equal in performance. I have both, and a picador. I wouldn't recommend the picador though unless you want the bed for bikes, or love el caminos. It does have four wheel drive though which means mount chiliad is nothing more than a bump for it. I've taken mine nearly straight up the side of it before. You can even come to a complete stop on a steep incline and still climb up. It completely falls behind everything else though in speed.

 

A side inquiry:

Of my three, I'm trying to decide which to sport as my "gentlemen's" muscle car. Gonna drop the spoilers and racing stripes possibly to make it a little more elegant, maybe paint it gold, or black. Kinda like in that Rockford car chase above.

FWIW the only way to get the Rockford (spoilerless) Phoenix is to dupe it form someone or bring it in from SP -> MP after making the car with the save editor. they don't normally spawn that way which is a shame. The base phoenix should have been spoilerless, with the ducktail trans am spoiler being the first option (just like in real life) with the other 2 spoilers being options 2 and 3. honestly, the daytona wing doesn't look right on the phoenix and they should bring in the dukes and put that spoiler on there instead along with an option for a nose cone to make a charger daytona.
