[XBOX] MAIN Regular Creator Events (updated weekly)

Dear GTAForums Community,

 

I decided to create only one general thread which will substitute all future announcements here about the MAIN Creator Events (11 held so far).

 

I will combine this with an overview about other kinds of events we're organizing, such as "Bike & Car Festival" (our version of a Car meet), "GTA 5000 Racing Championship", "Role-playing events (Cops-N-Crooks, Zombie Mode)", "Crew Parties", "Video shoots", "Side Activity Tournaments (e.g. Golf)" etc.

For some of those events, there will still be a separate thread. We will only replace the Creator Events announcements.

 

This thread will be updated weekly and will give you just a snapshot of what is planned.

Once per week, I will put up a screenshot of the events calendar and post a brief reply to indicate the update.

GENERAL INFO ABOUT THE CREATOR EVENTS (click on the spoiler to expand):

 

 

 

CONCEPT

Regular Creator Events Concept: Each creator provides jobs with total duration 15 minutes (Races, DMs or Capture), specifically designed for 16 people. During the event we run the playlist of all jobs or jobs are jobs will be hosted individually by the creators themselves (defined for each event in the description). We need content that is tested previously. So, bring out your BEST content designed for full lobby.

Special Edition Creator Events Concept: From time to time (usually once per month) we organize 1 Special Event, which focuses on certain jobs. For example so far we've done the following specials:

• Malicious Special (GTA Races & Deathmatches only)

• Pro Racing Special (lap races, pre-approved by the organizers)

• Melee Deathmatches, Captures & BMX/Sanchez Races

 

Date & Time: Held weekly or bi-weekly (depending on other events), typically on Sundays at 11am PST/PDT, sometimes on Saturdays.

 

Duration: Approx. 4 hours main event (jobs submitted by creators in the event).

 

Rules:

• The main requirement is that if you want your job to be included - you must participate in the event
• All submitted jobs must be set for maximum players 16
• You can also attend as a tester, without submitting any jobs
• Events are recorded and published on YouTube (Channels GTAVGAT, GreenFingerz, MaliciousCat).
• The event is hosted in a Free-aim lobby
• Approx. 15 minutes before start of the event - all participants will be invited to Invite Only Lobby by PlamenVT (therefore add PlamenVT to your friends list in case you sign up for the event)
• Each creator will have the chance to present his job to the others and give some tips prior to starting the job.
• Each creator will be given a chance to select the job settings, prior to launching of the job
• All submitted jobs will be split in 2 playlists, so we can have a 5 minute break between the 2 sessions
• We encourage constructive feedback from all participants during the session, in order to give valuable input to the creator for further improvement of their creations
• In that regard - Voting on jobs is either Thumbs Up or No voting. Giving Thumbs down is unnecessary and rather considered disrespectful towards the creator (since he's is sitting in the same lobby). If you have comments on the job on something you did not liked, then just give feedback verbally to the Creator, instead of using the voting button. If the job is just not your thing, than just don't vote.
• Voice communication during the event is preferred, not mandatory

XII Creators Event was officially announced and will be held on the original planned date - Sunday June 1st 2014, 11am PDT. Sign-up just by adding me (gamertag PlamenVT) to your XBL friends.

 

Calendar snapshot was updated above. Several new events added in the plan, based on suggestions from crew members.

XII Creators Event went awesome, we played for over 4 hours, with 14-15 people.

 

XIII Creators Event is this Saturday (June 7th). Fight Club event was added, as well as Free-roam killings spree event.

 

The Calendar snapshot (above in the main post) was updated today.

XIV Creators Event - Special Edition [sunday, June 15th, 11am PDT / 20:00 CET] is focused on:

 

• Sandking / Sanchez (or other Off-road) races
• Bicycle races (preferrably BMX/Scorcher)
• Utility vehicles races
• Deathmatches with primary weapon: RPG or Grenade Launcher
• Water Races

 

Both, Normal or GTA races allowed. Max. players for each job must be set to 16.
