Do you ever punish terrible hosts?

Whenever one of the above happens, I spend the entire race pitting and blocking him from getting anything better than DNF or focus on blowing him up all the time.

Feels good man.

No I just beat them take their money then find a better host. There can be Some REALLY bad hosts in Team Deathmatch.

Everyone has a b*ner for doing the boring things in GTA, like driving 1000laps at criminal records or doing RR all the time.

No. If I happen upon a race with settings I don't care for, or even a race I don't like, I just quit when I get the chance before the job starts.

 

On the odd occasion I don't manage to quit in time I just suck it up and play the race how it is set.

 

Way I see it, the host may like those settings or perhaps is trying them out or something. No need to give them grief about it.

Not in racing no. Once I followed a host into a mission after he killed me coming out of LSC. I drove off around the map and left him to do Mixed up with coke alone. After he died twice and was spectating me, I jerked until he left.

It's funny to abuse a gta race as a deathmatch, but it's not cool if you want to punish people because they host a race you don't like, you can leave man... even I don't do that, and I'm a horrible player myself xD

 

 

there are worse people I like to punish. For example those guys who taunt you with the voice chat... like if you kill someone like 10 times in a row (fair gunfight), they remain silent and when they kill you once they're like "OOOOOH OUTSKILLED BITCH"

 

and tank convoys.... ahh every time I see one I know that some squeakers are about to get mad very soon

 

 

edit: and btw, I generally do not join custom team deathmatches. I don't want to spawn unarmed in a death trap while the host is getting his minigun...

Last night I got stuck in a lobby with some kid who had an annoying voice, wouldn't shut up about how much he loved anime and hated people who were religious, and threatened to kick out everyone who disagreed with him/didn't let him get first as if him being a host was special in some way.

I ended up just beating him in a race, listened to his melt down for a minute then took off. Good enough punishment for me.

No because when I choose to race I quick join a job so it's just a random guy racing the way he wants to race. It's very rare that I get into a race lobby and hate the race and settings so much that I leave, but I do leave though if I know I'm not going to enjoy the race because of the settings. Instead of being a dick head and trying to spoil the race for everyone else by PITT'ing them etc.

Not a race, but I had a guy host "A Titan of a Job" once, and when we killed all the Merryweather guys he was shouting "IT'S MY GAME!!! I'M FLYING THE PLANE!!!! I'M THE HOST - IT'S MY GAME!!!"

 

I blew the c*nt up. Sometimes it's right to be a dick.

Had a guy host a 16x coveted playlist but he then proceeded to fail round after round by running down the hill without shooting anyone. My friend and I sat back and sniped, but we would always fail from that stupid host acting like a 5 year old.

 

I voted to kick him which brings up the "Someone is blah blah blah improve behaviour or else". He then ran me over with a Granger the next round. He somehow guessed I was the one to vote against him. So my friend did it too and the host was forced from his own playlist leaving my friend and I to complete 12 more by ourselves.

it certainly annoys me when they pick race settings that make no sense, like super class when half the track is offroad or traffic on on a tight, technical track with super class, or traffic off on a long straight track, with supers.

 

basically i'm bored of super races, but getting the traffic on/off setting wrong is what really annoys me, traffic should be on to make it difficult, challenging and realistic, on tight technical tracks with fast cars it just makes it frustrating, people wouldn't be racing their super cars like this IRL, it means that the winner is just the person that got lucky with npc car placement at the corners, with slower cars, such as a compact class race, this is negligible and much more realistic.

 

but no, i would never just target the host for these indiscretions.

I don't race much. I do like very much like to use the Join Random Contact Mission on my phone. When I get kicked from a mission lobby I immediately go to recent players and find them then join session in progress. I usually get back into the lobby just as the timer expires. If they manage to kick me all the way then I give them a bad review for unsportsmanlike conduct.

 

Set your f*cking Matchmaking to CLOSED in pause menu / ONLINE / OPTIONS, dipsh*t!

Because it alerts all the enemies most likely, and there are quite a few on that map with sniper rifles
