I just killed someone who was at full psycho level and I got a warning saying my Mental State level was increasing.

 

Then he blew me up in my car and I had to pay insurance, my Mental State level is less than 1/4 of the first segment.

 

WHAT THE F*CK?!

 

 

It's flawed, broken and shouldn't have ever been introduced int he first place.

Lol. Using that logic the cops are psycho. They kill just about everyone. RP FEST! KILL ALL DA KERPS! ( that's what I say when I kill cops in GTA lol)

I killed like ten or fifteen people over the last two days, did a few missions, and my fourth bar is almost full. Mine seems to never go down. It is stupid. I found out I'm more likely to get shot by white blips cause around them I'd let my guard down

It's flawed, broken and shouldn't have ever been introduced int he first place.

 

He's a troll who has hidden his cash - that's annoying - but not related to mental state.

I tried to increase my mental state, had to do it on purpose. It's not like you kill one physco and magically become one.

 

It might be an issue if you spent your entire game time hunting phsyco's, but then you'd be a physco, so it does work.

 

I did join a lobby full of red dots the other night though, was hilarious, jets and tanks everywhere. I'm sure it was full of people trying to rank it up on purpose.

I killed like ten or fifteen people over the last two days, did a few missions, and my fourth bar is almost full. Mine seems to never go down. It is stupid. I found out I'm more likely to get shot by white blips cause around them I'd let my guard down

 

Oh that's weird.

I eventually got mine up to 1 bar, came back to the game the next day and it'd dropped to 2/3 of a bar.

Were you blowing up the cars? Because in my experience killing cops is perfectly acceptable but blowing up their cars is a no no for some odd reason, so I quit with the grenades like I've usually done and switched to just shooting them.

 

I wonder if they could only count instigating a fight because getting revenge shouldn't make me a psycho, idk but this can be implemented better somehow.

You can check your mental state by holding down on the D-pad.

You can see yours in 3 different places:

 

1) Press and hold 'down' on the digital pad

2) Menu-Online-Players where you can view stats of everyone in the lobby (including yours)

2) Menu-Online-Stats-Skills

You know what you ought to do OP? You should totally make yet ANOTHER thread bitching and crying about something that IS NOT going to change! If you do that the moderators on these forums (who have zero ties to Rockstar Games mind you) will use thier magical mod wands to reset your dot immediately! Plus we all just LOVE hearing girls like you crying about the "massive injustices" of a goddamn videogame!

Oh yeah, well my mental state got raised for killing a guy with a bounty.

 

Another time, i went outside of my apartment and some player tried to kill me by running me over repeatedly until i was at half health. Then i got up and killed him and my mental state went up.

 

You also get your mental state up by killing npc's and police.

 

So i agree that the mental state is F*cking stupid and poorly though out just like passive mode.

I hate people that cry about everything, mental state really doesn't bother me if i see a red dot i go after it cause they will give me a challenge, plus it goes back too 0 after a day or so in game time.
