Utility races

If you didn't know already, there is a vehicle that can be used in utility races called the Vapid Sadler. The Sadler has much better stats than the other utility vehicles, and annihilates them even when stock. You can fully upgrade the Sadler to dust its competition even more easily. Furthermore, the Sadler normally isn't selectable in utility races, so you would have to use up one of your precious garage spaces in order to race with it.

So, I ask you, does the fear of the host having a Sadler stashed in his garage factor in your unwillingness to race utility vehicles? Would you be more likely to race utility vehicles if Rockstar took the Sadler out of the utility class?

Discuss.

I have no Idea why the Sadler is a Utility Class and there is another vehicle that is in the "Van" Class too that should either be in the Truck Section or Car Section i forget what car it is though

It's the Bravado Bison, a pickup truck

Odd that one pickup is a van and another is a utility

I'm pretty sure the Bobcat is also considered a van.

That's why you never trust race lobbies that have custom vehicles "On" in a Utility Race.

Biohazard Abyss

Utility races are unbalanced already without the sadler

Fully-modded faggio > Everything

If all vehicles are stock, caddy and faggio are the only ones viable.

I have one at the moment, not a fan of the two toolboxes in the bed, shame that they don't have tonneau covers or fiberglass covers for the pickup beds

Yeah they def need to add more accessories for the Sadler & Bison.

The "Roll Bar" & "KC Lights" for the Sadler are held on with Elmers Glue they fall off if you take a corner the wrong way.

Fear... I have nothing to be afraid of:

Seriously though I got into an argument with my friend irl over this when he hosted a utility race and refused to turn custom vehicles on knowing I had this. All players have the ability to own up to 20 cars per character (or 26 by means of glitching) if they decided to waste those spaces with nothing but supers, sports, and high-end cars then its their own fault.

I have one too. If people rage message me, I tell them that a good racer is prepared for anything. Most people are caught off guard when I switch the class from super to utility at the last second. Like I said, you gotta be prepared.

this is another one of those 'what the f** was R* thinking? are they trying to troll us?' moments. theyve created such and amazing game, but still do sh** like this that makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. Another, why cant we insure and customize vans? Like proper vans, the rumpo, burrito and pony????

but yea people on the outside of any car, granger, roosy, sadler can fall off fairly easily......but its still wicked cool to ride in the open w almost full use of weapons.

im gonna have to get now....this is whole new level of duuch baggery, and rockstar is in on it as well

Utility races should be done with custom vehicles off. Even better with custom vehicles off and a set vehicle.

Exactly, I own three different off-roads (Rebel, Bodhi, DuneBuggy) just for this reason. Rebel for 'climbing' tracks, DuneBuggy for dirtroads, and Bodhi for tracks that have both.

If that's the case a utility creator could just restrict to one vehicle type for the race. Lawnmower races FTW

Utility races are purely for fun, there's absolutely no skill or anything like that. You're not a big man for beating a lawnmower in a faggio, so I don't really care if someone uses a Sadler.

I have absolutely no idea why pickups don't have their own class though. There's more than enough of them.

Sadler, Bison, Rancher, Sandking, Rebel, Bobcat, Bodhi and debatably Rat Loader. There's probably a few more I've forgotten. It's stupid of Rockstar really...

Yes it is. And I own both Bison and Bobcat.

I totally forgot about the Saddler being classed as Utility, in my opinion it should be in the Vans class.

Doesn't the Saddler have an "utility variant"? I mean as a model variant, with wood planks or stuffs on the roof.

But the Bison have an utility variant of that sort too, yet it is a Van...

As much as i agree with these posts, 20 spaces is not enough fortunately. I have:

2 supers

2 sports

2 muscles

2 coupes

2 sedans

2 motorbikes

1 compact

1 offroad

2 sports classic

2 SUVs

1 Van

I have 1 spot remaining. I dont really need an extra offroad or van unless they add an extra 10 garage spaces (to make it 30). I was really hoping to make the last spot another compact. As much as i want 1 of each class, there isnt really much room to have 2 of least everything. It is a hard choice.

Back when we could only have up to 10 cars, I was stashed for 10/12 different race classes. I was only missing vans and sports classics. I made sure I had a modded Saddler in my garage. One day someone actually picked Utility and I laughed crushing everyone and knocking people off their Faggios. Call me a jerk, I don't care, it's GTA, and I was so happy I had bought a Saddler.

I have a fm Sanchez too but I don't use it, I do take joy in running over Sanchez drivers with my Bodhi.

A garage just for racing vehicles.

BTW The Akuma has a red frame now.

And the Sadler by itself
