I drink coffee or Sprite. I don't eat while playing because having to open up your controller because of sticking buttons, and being forced to clean it to get all the grease and crumbs out is no fun at all. Trust me, I have kids and have adopted a 'no eat while you play' policy in the home. I have not had to clean a controller in years, so it seems to be working. I used to have to do it all the time, and you would be shocked at the amount of crud kids somehow manage to cram into the controllers if left to their own devices. I once found an M&M (whole) inside a PS2 controller. I still have no idea how they managed that one, my only guess is that the younger one somehow crammed it in the small gap in the analog sticks.

Water or syrup (don't know what it's called in English, the stuff that's too sweet to drink straight and you just put a little bit in the glass with water).

 

Instant noodles, crackers or toast with whatever is in the house. A bag of chips with hot sauce on good days.

Coke with a slice of lemon has been my latest favourite. I get the house to myself of an evening like once a month. That's the night I get a dominos to myself and spend about 5 hours on GTA. I cut it up and eat with a fork though so I can keep the old controller clean. Other than that I don't really eat when I'm gaming. Mostly because I've made a habit of not eating upstairs. This all sounds dreadfully boring...

I mean, I admit, I love me a good soda, but energy drinks make me rigor.

 

 

My tactic is to normally eat really lean stuff and drink mostly water. Then when I do eat or drink unhealthy I don't give a f*ck what's in it. I don't eat it every day anyway. If I drink soda, I drink the sweetest stuff I can find and when I eat junk food I'll eat a whole bag of chips. It works so far because I'm not fat at all.

Food: I just eat what I would normally eat. breakfast, lunch, tea etc.. Then inbetween if I'm hungry then I will go and grab a snack.

 

Drink: I drink Fiji Water and Monster Energy because I get Monster Energy for free.

As always, you might or might not like it. You have to to try it to make your mind up. Monster Energy comes in many different flavours, my favorite being:

Original/Zero Ultra/Ultra Blue/ All three Extra Strength flavours, Cuba Lima and many more. But you'll be limited to what flavours you can get if you're outside of the US. Lucky for me being part of the Monster Army I get to try flavours that aren't sold in the UK in main supermarkets.

 

EDIT: Also the new Valentino Rossi flavour is brilliant (Yellow can)

Monster Energy Assault. A lot of people say this one tastes like/has a taste of cherry. Though this one may be a little hard to find in a store. You might be able to get some online if not
