How much are you expecting?I feel like were gonna get screwed over and get around $25000 for a hard, complex mission.

They'll probably do this:

Total take: $15 million

Lester's cut: $13 million

Madrazos cut: $1.5 million

Player 1: $25000

Player 2: $25000

Player 3: $25000

Etc.

So, what are you expecting the payouts to be? And what would you WANT?

I think i understand Lesters intentions now.....

I don't care either way. If they don't have solo heists, I won't be playing any.

It's not because Shark Cards are available, but it's the fact that R* lowered payouts for missions, nerfed rooftop rumble, and always eliminates efficient ways of making money.

Do you actually know the definition of "efficient"?

I don't think he knows the definition of "nerf", either. They didn't "nerf" RR. They gave it a slight bump in difficulty. Not the same thing.

You should just be glad I'm not in charge of things over at R*, cuz I really would have nerfed the hell out of it. I'd have left the gameplay alone, but cut the RP in half and the $$ down to like 6k (while also increasing the payouts on some of the more difficult missions, like Los Santos Connection and Chemical Extraction). But they didn't touch your precious payout. You still get your 4k+ RP, and 18k+ $$. They just made it so that it's more than the 30-second point-and-click fest that it used to be. Now you actually have to DRIVE TO THE GARAGE!! And chase down a car with a briefcase!! Wow, that's, like, really difficult, isn't it? That's the kinda s*** that takes elite f'ing skills. Yeah, I can see why you're bitching...

They nerfed the efficiency of grinding (look at my other post I pasted the definition in case you're incompetent). I'm sorry but you're so blind to what Rockstar is doing its hilarious.

100k divided by 4 people.

Don't forget to factor in Lesters cut, equipment, ammo cost, etc

I guarantee a player wont make more than 40k on a heist. Look deep inside you and you know I'm right.

100,000.00/4=25,000.00

So no more then likely you won't make 40,000

LOL, okay--if you say so. You can complete it every 8 to 10 minutes now, instead of every 6 or 7. And you can still fire up a Coveted playlist and clear $200k in an hour (unless you can't fly the cargobob?). I'm sittin' on $7.4 mil right now with 2 apartments, all the cars I want (fully modded), all the weapons, and a tank, and I've spent a grand total of 5 or 6 afternoons grinding since October (3 or 4 doing Coveted, 2 doing RR). If you find that hilarious and it gives you a good laugh, then I'm glad to help. :) You've given me one, after all, so it's only right to return the favor... ( <- My blind-man dark glasses... ;) )

Anyway, back on the original topic, I actually believe heists will pay out very well: somewhere between 250k and a million per player. But there'll be steps in place to make sure that's not fast and easy $$, and that you can't do a few quick heists and add several mil to your bank account in a couple of hours of playing. I think they'll be difficult (and just wait for all the whining and bitching about how R* deliberately made them impossible to complete so they could sell more cash cards :sigh: ), and they'll take a while; half-hour, minimum. You'll need to have a certain number of JP to be able to start them, which means having to do a few other jobs first. And you might be limited in how often you can do them (same as having to wait 48 minutes to sell another car to LSC; maybe you'll only be allowed 1 successful heist per RL day).

But I also think they'll be adding new, really expensive stuff to spend that money on. Mansions. Buyable businesses. BAWSAQ (okay, maybe not BAWSAQ; I don't think that's ever gonna work). A casino DLC with a high-roller table. And even tho people will be clearing 400k with each heist, they'll still be bitching about how difficult they are, how they take too long, and how the new mansion they wanna buy is $10 mil and it's gonna take them over 2 weeks of heisting to be able to afford it...

you'll most likely only get 50k per heist then have to wait an 1-12 hours to do another. i don't think jp will be used since they get reset each time you switch sessions.

Exactly my point. You won't be able to use the thousands you've already earned. If you wanna do a heist, you'll have to start a new session and do a few other jobs first. It'll just be another way of making you put in some effort if you want a big reward. And if that happens, people are going to absolutely HATE IT! Cuz not many people actually want to put in an effort to get stuff. They want their stupidly-easy way of collecting 4k RP and 18k $$, and when heists come out they're gonna want to make 500k for a mission they can do every 15 or 20 minutes. If they can get the 500k but have to spend an hour doing other jobs to earn JP first, they're gonna bitch. If they can do a heist every 15 minutes but only make 25 or 30k, they're gonna bitch. And if heists are as hard (or harder!) than, say, The Los Santos Connection, people are gonna bitch...

It better be good because I can't stand grinding missions anymore so my bank account has been growing really slowly. I'm counting on heists to make the money to fill up my second garage.

I'm expecting about twice the money you get from RR for every player.

probably be like a regular high-end mission. about 10,000-18,750 payout. Not expecting it to be much...

They're going to be around 50k per heist, and you can only complete one once per day.

In SP, I didn't make my fortune doing heists, I made it on the stock market. I don't expect a big payout (all I hope is that they are fun) ..I kind of expect a range of heists, with a range of difficulty and a range of payouts. My hunch says that the BIG one(s) will be the new highest earner in GTA;O.

I'd expect around 30k-50k if we can replay it over and over like all the other jobs. Could be a little bit more if there's a limit on how many times you can do it in one day.

To be honest, and may sound unrealistic, but maybe around $250k-$500k & 10kRP-15kRP. I'd say that because first of all you need a high end apartment, which will cost you I think $450k-$500k. Second, I'm sure it wont come that often because the payout could possibility be huge. Thirdly, $20k is just waaaay to low for a heist. I'll do one round of Rooftop Rumble and have the same. So that's what I think! :D

Am I the only one who is looking forward to heists for actual gameplay, not money? I just hope they will be great co-op missions that will last more than 3 minutes and will requre actual teamwork.

I forgot all about JP, I think JP are the way to go with heists. Like some one said earlier that would help keep the heists from being farmable, the more you repeat the mission the sooner you gonna burn your self out and get tired of them. If people bitch because they don't wanna do regular missions first to get enough JPs to do heists then that's their problem....let them bitch. R* would just have to have a good balance with exactly how many JPs we need to start the Heists. Hopefully there will be new regular missions that tie into the heists jobs. Plus it would make use of actually having JPs lol.

No your not, but a nice big payday at the end would make them even better. Nothing wrong with that.....just hope they give us more to spend it on lol

$5

I thought somebody had found in the coding somewhere that it was going to be $20k per person?

I hope not, as that's a measly amount for a heist. I, like everyone else, want longer missions that are harder but pay better. Much better.

Also, the limited team lives annoys me - noobs tend to use up all the lives, then an NPC blindfiring from 2 miles away will get you with a perfect headshot and you'll be sat there spectating for the next 10 minutes watching said noobs try to complete the mission as if the instructions on what to do aren't plastered across the bottom of the screen.

Oh, and I genuinely don't think we'll get very much money. Part of the reason that R* keep the payouts low is because if we could earn 10 million in 2 hours then everyone would own everything by now and would have even less to play for, thus losing interest. That's also why we are trickle fed new vehicles and clothes etc. So we have reason to keep playing to earn money to buy the new content.

Due to glitches and hackers and general modern day impatience, most people have enough money to buy whatever they want anyway, but they've got to make us work for the most expensive items so we get a sense of achievement. If you can do one heist and come away with enough money to buy all the next DLC content then people would get bored even quicker than they already claim to.

I think we're supposed to do varied missions and slowly earn enough to buy the expensive cars etc that we desire. Instead, people go crazy grinding, glitching, or hacking to ensure they have the money to buy everything straight away, even if it means grinding boring missions for hours on end. That includes me - I must have everything noooow!

If limited lives annoy you then get better at not dying. Fight smart.

Heists will be a Gerald mission:

Payout as followed:

Gerald: $20,000,000

Player 1: $2,500

Player 2: $2,500

Player 3: $2,500

Player 4: $2,500

"Okay guys, we've reached the vault! Let's bust this f*cker open!"

...

...

...

"Drugs? What the f*ck is a bank doing with drugs?!"

Totally agree - they need to make them complex/challenging enough that teamwork and coordination is the only way to beat them.

I also would like them encourage you to make use of the different types of vehicles you can buy - such as having the option to parachute into a target location, instead of driving to avoid police checkpoints etc. This would make it beneficial to have someone who owns a helicopter / plane (specifically the Luxor as it has 10 seats).

I also think a large part of the heists will be the getaway - so am hoping that this is more interesting than simply losing cops. Would be cool having to coordinate a rendezvous at sandy shores and then pile into a jet and take off together to escape.

I want the heists offline to come online when we did it offline we got like 19m? But lower the value to more like 600k

19m for a heist online is just too much in my opinion

its quite obvious implementing heists into online will be very very difficult, will the planing be a separate mission? must you do the build up and heist with the same members? what if they are not available, what if you disconnect during the heist?

I guess they will either be one big mission, or a series of missions.

If they are a series of missions, then they could work in a similar way to playlists - obviously with greater links between the missions so they don't feel so segmented. Actually, the fact that pegasus vehicles (for example) stay current throughout playlists (so they stay in the position they were last left in the previous mission) could be a pointer towards heists. That would mean that if the separate stages of the heist are separate missions, then all your personal vehicles etc would stay as they were - which would greatly help the various missions feel linked.

I was just told that heist details were leaked and they will pay $23 million. It will be split between 17 people and can only be done once a week.

This is UNCONFIRMED. I'm a little disappointed at the whole 'once a week' thing.
