I will say though that I am not a Tom Cruise fan and generally stay away from movies he's in simply because he's in them. But seriously, in the last place I worked we had a 'client' who's name was Tom Cruse, born in mid/late '80s. What parent would do that to a child?! Also, apparently Tom Cruise refused to use blanks on the set of Collateral which he justified by saying "how can I know that Jamie [Fox] knows that I know he's acting?" The film's Director Michael Mann said the train scene became pretty intense due to the use of live rounds by Cruise, but that he had remained confident that a tragedy wouldn't ensue because he was aware that Cruise was "a truly god-awful shot - honestly, if you see that c*nt shoot, you won't know whether to laugh, or to cry out of shear pity!"
