for me, since i do kill some players for their bounty or help them lose their bad mental state, or to gt back at them after they kill me.

but one time i interupted a player's robbery by shooting at him.

Depends. If they're just spawn killing and acting like that I'll leave the lobby.

 

If they're throwing around nasty slurs about people's identity, then I sometimes put them on YouTube to show what a jerk they are.

When this happens to me I make sure to hang around the lobby being abused and killed until the asshole decides to leave. That way I can prove a point.

Then I turn off my Playstation and sit quietly in my bedroom thinking about the things I just experienced, and to try to get better in touch with my true inner feelings.. Certain recurrent questions will typically arise at this time such as:

 

"why do I think that other player was an asshole?"

"is there something that happened to that person in childhood like being raped by a barnyard animal?"

"is there anything I can learn from this experience that could help in my spiritual growth as a person?"

 

Then I will usually fire up my tablet or laptop and post about it on GTAForums, where advice can be obtained from 12 year old trolls, sociopaths, and glitchers extraordinaire. I want to share everything I learned today with the internet.

If I've got a bounty on myself usually nothing, but if i'm minding my own business and get whacked for it.

1. Forgive myself for the devious actions that are about to happen

2. Start the Mortal Kombat theme song

3. Unleash chaos!!!

 

but most times just let it go or move to another session

Yesterday I had just sold a car at lsc, spawned outside and there was someone out there on foot. I turned to walk away and saw him pull his gun, do a tactical roll, then shoot me. So I spawn on the street, there's a car coming with a different player. I go into an alley walking away, could've shot him. Instead he gets out of his car and guns me down. Okay arseholes, game on. I called for my entity, located the first players blip who went to his apt, stood outside his garage and lit him up when he came out. Then I went to find the second guy who was with a friend and he was getting a haircut, so I find a nice rooftop down the street, snipe his friend that's waiting outside, then snipe him as he comes out. Still not satisfied I grab a buzzard and get on top of a building in the general area and sniped the first guy 3 more times then the other guy came around and I got him one more.

 

tl;dr - the only way to deal with them is with murderous violence, it's the only language they understand

I ignore them and just go and start up a game mode with friends or by myself (including a job)

 

Or I just join a different lobby, if he starts chasing me I'll either let him kill me once if I can't kill him first, if he continues then I'll start fighting back.

I increment the asshole counter. It's up to 5,304,253 so far. The non-asshole counter is up to 8.

I once had people waiting for me to leave my garage and they promptly killed me.
I then kept killing them all over the map, and did not let up until they asked why I was doing this,
"Because you do not camp garages and apartments waiting for some one to come out"
Kept killing them, again and again, and you guessed it again, until they texted me that they were sorry and wouldn't do it again.

But meh, normally I am the ar$ehole,
I just want to teach everybody that GTAO is not a safe place, and that you can't just pause in the middle of the road, and that going into a shop with many other players about will result in your vehicle being stickied!
I had some one teach me, so I only feel that it is fair to teach others. But in saying that, if you appear cool on the street I will give you space and maybe if I like your ride chill with you.

If it's an asshole on foot, I'll usually stick around and play with them for awhile. If it's the spawn killers in tanks, no thanks. I'm pretty eh *shrug* when I play.
