There is a topless MW mesa. its as safe as a roofed mesa.

You can get it from calling mercs, your much more likely to die in it though, I've owned both.

Without the cage is only possible with a save editor regardless of roof on or off. With the cage is definitely possible in game.

I meant with roll cage but the 1 without cage sounds sexy!

Called them on someone else in a lobby this afternoon and they got away (jumped lobbies, I think.) I went to where the person was and noticed that the mercs hadn't left. The mercs did a lap around the parking lot next to the beach (like, "Uh, what do we do now?") and I wasn't really thinking, just standing there. As they were heading out I realized that it was one without the hard top back. I zipped after them and they turned the corner - I thought it was going to despawn, but it ran into another car. Grabbed it and thankfully barely anyone in the lobby. So, have both versions, one in each garage.

 

Is it the fastest car? No. Flawless car? No. Love the urban assault vehicle look of it, love the lights that can light up a block. One of my favorite casual drive-around cars.

 

Unfortunately can't store the ones from the gang attack at the beach by the fort anymore.

That's what I love about them to. Perfect cruising car can do a little off roading and it fast enough to outrun police

save supercars glitch saves all non blacklisted vehicles. even PVs and bicycles (not owned by you)

I don't have it anymore. Got rid of it and replaced it with the one on the top. I prefer open top if it's cageless. Close top and cagless looks like a giant box on wheels lol

People have said this before and I thought, "Eh, I'd just screw it up somehow."

 

In the interests of GTA science, I thought I'd try it this morning. Took my Mesa and headed over to the fort. Thankfully, didn't have to wait much at all once I got to the gang attack for it to start.

 

Did it, LEFT my Mesa by the fort.

 

Chose to go with the Mesa I took from the gang attack to the mission marker Roadgame, which is on the higher road in nearby Chumash. Exited out and ... there wasn't anything there.

 

I went, "Eh, that didn't work."

 

I noticed my Mesa had been teleported from where I'd left it by the fort to the lower road in Chumash right nearby. I go towards it and look over the side to the lower road and see that my Mesa is parked right next to the Mesa that I took from the gang attack.

 

Took the Mesa (which was a hard top back - both spawned as hard top at the attack, maybe because I drove there with one - you usually seem to get one of each when you go there) from the gang attack to LSC and it was able to be insured.

 

I didn't need one (I already have one of each) so I didn't track/insure it, but you could - the option was there.

 

So, this works and that mission marker is a convenient one that can be used. However, just know it may reappear on the lower road.

If you change the MW Mesa tyre to off road non stock tyres, They become smaller wheels. :O
