Good question! I wondered the same thing! There is an entire sub-forum devoted to cheating/glitching, and FOS at least requires you to earn the money. I don't understand the mods' bias. I guess the cry babies got to them, perhaps?

They've said in other threads they locked that the mission was removed. Seems like that's why, but isn't it still playable for some?

I would guess it was removed because it was pretty much page after page of people arguing over whether they should or shouldn't be playing it.

 

I do find it quite strange how rockstar rush to fix these missions which are difficult to do solo or without a tank and pay $75,000 over 5+ mins when currently there are 2+ money glitching methods which earn you $750,000 in around 2 minutes, yet they don't seem in a rush to patch those.

Because both missions got removed and funmw2 has not republished them yet.

 

Im pretty sure Ciaran and Raavi posted in the threads why they got locked and/or removed.

The mission is hard as hell!! I hosted last night and played with a few others and a tank is pretty much a requirement. The payout is big yes, at $75,000. However a Tank is a must. So if you have to invest like $1.5 million in order to complete the mission (buy a tank), then a $75,000 seems about right, also considering the level of difficulty involved. Hundreds of cops with god-mode like heads, using rocket launchers, a buzzard and maverick shooting at you, gang-bangers, and the military, yeah, $75,000 is warranted.
