Tanks is really not a problem, it's the friggin minigun that is!

I wonder how different this community would be if Rockstar took away the 1 vs 0 screen when you get killed... I think it's the reason most people turn into griefers. Since it's all about stats and kd ratio :/

I think it takes the joy out of gunfights, everyone just want their killscore to be highest... Whatever it takes.

 

And it's free aim lobbys im talking about.

 

Edit: I'm definitely not getting my ass kicked by guys with miniguns, all Im saying is that the joy of gunfights is slowly dying, since they 8/10 times end with the guy im having a fight with pulls his mini... And then its just an infinite mini on mini worthless battle!

 

And oh, If you do feel the urge to be a douche. Just go along... This is just my opinion!

What do you guys think of the minigun?

The obnoxiously common tanks aren't a problem.. but the gun that people rarely use is?

Well, in the last days of playing, everyone I've had a gunfight with has been using his minigun all the time. And since a big number of players are above 120 these days. It just seems as if the days of carbine vs carbine has been replaced with mini vs mini.

OP is right!

 

The explosive tank shells have nothing on a few bullets. It was just yesterday a minigun bullet grazed my knee and I had to quickly eat some P's&Q's before the guy killed me.

Minigun...

Cant take cover while using it.
Are terribly exposed.
No auto aim.


Someone who knows anything about this game can take out a minigun user easily - unless he gets the jump on you.


Now the tank...

Highly durable.
One shot one kill.
Can run over cars.

Need I go on?

Or to scared of the big ones...

Or maybe its just me, and my shooting skills that just nakes people mad and feel the need to use the mini to stand a chance?

OP is drunk. Tanks are OP, minigun is fine as-is and they only show those 1vs0 screens if you're the one who died. If anything they promote revenge, not griefing. I had a bounty once and this guy just wouldn't give up. Eventually he got me and it flashed the box 13vs1. For a 1k bounty. I lold cause I had no idea

The risks hugely outweigh the reward using the minigun against anything but aircraft.

Pro Tip: Aim for the head.

I'm normally that son of a b*tch though ;) my golden minigun is my sweetheart.

It's always something...

Tanks are fine. Miniguns are fine. Autoshotguns are fine. The Heavy Sniper is fine.

The only weapon that's overpowered is the broken bottle...kidding, that's fine too; my guy is just a bar-fighting master.

I came in here to give my opinion on the state of gta online. And everyone missed the point!

I never said that the mini was OP, neither have I claimed it to be superior to the tank.

But since I haven't seen a tanker for a couple of weeks now and 8/10 times get into a minigun PVP, I think its sad :/

Because I enjoy the carbine vs carbine gunfights! And they seem non existent for me!

Perhaps I'm having bad luck in matchmaking, or because I never pick a fight with anyone lower that 100, since I dont see it being fair.

 

And instead of being a douche, add me on PSN and we can have some races and gunfights, just for fun?

The minigun doesn't suck if you don't suck, use it right.

Also we'd have alot less hissy fit fights on the streets if rockstar got rid of that stupid "0 vs 1" stuff, all it does is encourage revenge.

The minigun is totally bonkers - it's just ridiculous! It ruined the 3rd trailer, and it ruined what would otherwise have been the best bank heist in the game. A minigun needs allot of mechanical power for rotation and firing. It's so absurdly unrealistic! They basically need either a high speed engine from a helicopter or a fuel powered generator in order to fire. I'd have much preferred a chainsaw.

 

In online it's not too much of a problem - it can't be used from cover, and it is basically a huge flag saying 'I'm a noob with experience' which always seems to me less dangerous than a noob without experience.
