Double pay first time mission

Am I the only one no longer receiving a double payout after my first time completing a mission?

 

Also, why am I finding myself continuously doing the same missions? I'm trying so hard to mix it up but every time a contact sends me a job, or I request one, it's stuff that I've already done. I just hit rank 56 today and I'm really nickel and diming on crappy missions. This one that I just did from Martin was one of the first new missions I've had in a while. Is there a better way to get into new missions that I'm not aware of?

It isn't double, it's the normal payout. After you've done a mission, it'll be half. I don't think the difficulty matters.

 

 

Another way of doing missions:

 

Press start, online, jobs, host job, Rockstar Created, missions. There's a list with all missions you have done so far.

Also, check the corona's on the ground. Not sure if they appear anyway, or after you've done the mission.

 

btw: espacially level 70 and 75 will give you a bunch of new missions

Wow as if I didn't know that.. thanks a lot! Seeing missions I had no idea were even here - wonder why they wouldn't put some of these (and the new ones) in the refresh screen.

 

I see how the payouts work now. Just seemed like I got paid a lot more from missions when I first started playing. I don't have too many complaints about the game, but man, the payouts on some of these missions are brutal! I've been doing survivals for decent money but they take too long.
