It's the same reason people want to be able to put a car in the back of a Cargobob or not have cars slide off flat-bed trailers. Entertainment.

Might not be entertaining for you but a lot of people come up with some pretty cool ideas when given things like this.

The #ThanksCargobob picture contest is a great example of that.

cus its fun. there is a lot of things in gta that dont have any real use. lite 10million different boats noone uses.

 

towtrycks can be used for freeroam fun. and for missions and minigames. example, steal simeoncar without everyone in the session get the message that you got it.

Once a crew member and I realised we could open the back of the BIG GOODS semi trailer and put cars in we had the bright idea of having a semi truck impromptu into the city, then unload our cars and race back.

 

Totally just for sh*ts n giggles.

 

Then we realised the door closed wont keep the car in, it either busts open and the car rolls out or the car smashes the inside of the trailer and destroys it.

 

 

We did have plenty of fun with him or myself in our cars in the back with the handbrake on however - and then trying to drive into the trailer while the semi is at full noise down the freeway

 

On the topic of the tow truck - I remember in GTA:SA making a tow truck train. I was disappointed when I couldn't do it in GTA V

I was pretty disappointed when my car fell off the flat bed semi when I stated driving. Especially since it took a long time to get both the semi and my car in a suitable location to load it on there because every time I turned around to get in my car the f*cking truck disappeared.

Exactly this. The more we have to do the more fun some people can have, this is why people ask for these things. Besides its EASIER to grief with a Cargobob. Fly down, lift car, place in incongruous place near person so they keep looking for it, like say on top of the ponsbies they are in.

 

Trailers, Flatbeds, we want it all so we can have fun doing different things.
