Do you think the pistols should get buffed?

As we all know, the pistols are as useless as a remote with no batteries: they are massively outclassed by all the other weapons, in damage, rate of fire and accuracy. So, do you think that the pistols could be improved, and how?

Combat Pistol / Heavy Pistol are two of my favorite and most used weapons in the game. They are perfectly powered as I don't know why I'd need to excessively blow my enemies head off, seeing as both those weapons will do it with one shot already.

No. Pistols are more powerful per shot than the small caliber smg type weapons. And, in forced pistol matches I actually kick butt, so I don't think they need to be buffed.

ALL weapons are a one shot headshot, even the shotguns, the pistols aren't special in that regard, lol.

Yeah, they should fix the regular pistol, it's not that weak IRL! The SNS is unrealistically powerful. Also: I'm thinking they may have put the wrong description for the Combat Pistol, says it's good for Law Enforcement, but the AI Police don't use it.

Dude most of the pistols already kick ass, tried them out today for a while for the first time in months and they actually felt like they could compete with MG's and crap if used right.

I stopped using my AP Pistol a couple of weeks ago...after reading this thread will use it tonight - see why the heck I stopped.

The AP pistol decimates at close range. Combat pistol could use a little more kick though. Haven't tried the Heavy against players since I just use the .50

I'd prefer they give us the ability to modify aircraft. it'd be nice if helicopter, and planes could be made to reflect the unique individuals that possess them. even if they don't get used all that much.

 

i'd also like to be able modify bicycles. though i do think that perhaps they should add in different 'types' of ammunition. since as you rank you get slightly more health it'd be nice if i shot someone with a pistol who isn't an NPC(or any gun really) they'd atleast flinch it'd be nice if we could just knee cap players or disarm them by shooting there weapons out of there hands <.< not to mention if NPC could injure us like we do them the game would be much more interesting.

No the pistols work just fine, the best guns for head shots and the AP pistol is one of the best weapons in the game

Pistols ain't for freeroam. They're for close quaters DMs. Flick up and get the one-shot headshots, Combat Pistol is my favourite weapon and the AP is better than half the rifles. Just gotta know how to use em.

They're pistols ffs. -_- Of course they're not gonna be the best weapons in the game.They're fine the way they are. If the pistols were buffed it would kill the point of even having other weapons in the game. The AP pistol is the only pistol you need tbh.

Ummm so's the old ones just gotta be more accurate and a bit closer. I like the Heavy Pistol but it gives the noobs more chance of killing me with a chest shot. I get called a glitcher all the time cause I get the Combat Pistol headshots.
