R.I.P Level 1000's and more....

Heres my example, twice my account was lost. First time I was around level50, second time I was level 26. Both times the account was lost, I had to create a new character and start over. I then glitched and grind to get my level back, so now Im back to level one? Seems fair.

Ha. It seems you don't even get to keep legitimate RP if it was gained post-glitched RP.

 

Not true at all. Rockstar will be adjusting RP - not merely removing it. It is pretty easy to filter illegitimate RP transaction(s) from legitimate ones. All Rockstar have to do is run a script which scans the players' log for all RP transactions which exceed the maximum amount allowed by the game and/or ones that are way out of line with developer specs (e.g. 1,000,000 RP for robbing a store). Then they just remove any and all of the illegitimate RP and re-adjust the rank accordingly. Edited May 20, 2014 by gorskiegangsta

Do you still have, and can you still use, the heavy sniper, RPG and Minigun?

 

I haven't actually checked yet but I was 80-ish before I used the DNS'. I'll check tomorrow, and I should actually be higher with legit RP gained afterwards being kept. I guess I'll be around level 100.

I think they can use those types of weapons until they run out of ammo - and then the weapons will be locked in Ammunation. Kind of the same idea as when you pick up a minigun in a survival. Not sure though.

Well just to update, I checked online. Apparently they raised my level to 136. I got the message too and everything and I know for a fact I was 135 because I remembered hitting 15 levels above 120 where I glitched.

If levels after 120 actually had some sort of benefits I can see this being a good fix. But since life after 120 there is no rewards then who cares what level everyone is?

You can hold more bp vests at level 135 than at lower levels.

Looks like the info panel when starting a new session is screwed. It just showed me the same as the other people that have posted screenshots, but I'm totally 100% legit and my rank hasn't changed anyway. I think they're showing that message to a lot of people - maybe everyone.

This remains to be seen. I actually told on myself about what I earned from FOSV3. I still stand by my legitimacy up until the day timothy paradox made that thread on R* Support about FOSV3. But really, do I want an effing cookie? Not really. I just didn't want to be called a cheater when I didn't intentionally cheat, now you may call me a cheater because I hit FOSV3 for almost 2 million dollars. Modnation should be throwing a party right now.

Not an rp glitcher, but have no idea how someone else's rank effects your game. They have access to weapons they shouldn't... But.. Other players do have access to those weapons. And they will kill you.

 

It's not like the level 1000s kill you more than the 120s. That's not been my experience, anyway.
