I have a guy in my crew. he was level 1000. rockstar said they would reset players. he got knocked down to 999. then they raised the level cap and now he is 1005.

Only question I have about this pre hacking level is say u were 100 hacked 20 levels and gained 60 legit. Will you be back at 100 or at 160

The support article explains that players will be reset to the level they were at the first time the violation occurred.

I read that but I would find it dumb to reset legit levels its lazy to not calculate the 20 levels out instead of blanket rollback

 

Give me one valid reason why you deserve to not be reset to rank 1? You're a cheater and don't deserve to even play the game with other people. You should consider yourself lucky that they are letting you keep the RP from before your cheating. If I owned Rockstar you'd be reset - RP *and* money. Immediately.

Also, I can pretty much confirm that if you GLITCHED your RP you will be fine. My second character which I glitched from level 20 to 120 in about 45 min is still good.

 

My "legit" level 239 is also fine, but there's no reason it would be reset as all I did was farm the OG Rooftop Rumble back a week before launch.

I’m curious to know whether people on this thread think RP glitching is a bigger problem than cash glitching. I personally think RP glitching is worse, because you’re unlocking weapons, mods and missions that you otherwise wouldn’t have access to. If you’re a level 20 who has $100 million, there’s a lot you aren’t eligible to buy with all that loot.

cash glitching should be worse in their opinion because they offer ingame cash for real money. they don't sell RP...

Oh cool, so the one and one-half levels I got from FOS V3 doesn't count? I still feel dirty, even though I had fun playing with more than 8 of my friends in a mission and we didn't have to kill each other to complete the mission. I used to hate the rank hackers, but now I know how they felt and why they did what they did. When the majority of your friends are doing something together, right or wrong, you feel left out when you choose not to do it. Integrity is the toughest asset to hold on to.
