Agreed, even if it paid like $12k and 2k.RP I would still play this over RR. This is actually FUN and non-redundant when you replay it, depending on the rest of your team (who you're playing with, what's their level, how many you are, etc?) their are many ways to complete it! Real coop, real teamplay, this game should be full of missions like this one. Period.

...then if the mission gets too popular they go in and reduce the payouts, take the mission away for a short time, block the ability to share money, disable the replay button, give the enemy ai even better aimbots and change the mission...

You clearly have no idea what is going on...

...and if the game "sucks so bad" and if Rockstar is so "oppressive" then quit and go play another game...or go outside

Even if R* takes away the money/RP we earn from doing this (which I doubt) I don't care. This mission is fun, with the right people.

What would make this activity fun is this:

1) Steal tank that is moving and guarded by a convoy.

2) You have 1 min to steal the buzzard on the TPI hangar.

3) Fieldmiester is moving south and guarded by a convoy of cops.

4) Once you steal it you have to move it to a field guarded by hordes of endless spawning sniper miniguns where you will need your tank and buzzard to clear.

Bam...75-90k payout is now worth it. Players work together and R* continues to have customers.

That actually sounds like a mission from vice city where you had to steal an army truck.

I actually like your ideas there, that would be fun.

FOS is fun because players are really in needs to collaborate each other, for the first time ever in missions of the game you can't just kill everyone on the planet to achieve it...

It's fun because it requires teamwork for once, just like Heists should be (if they even are as good as people think they will be)

Literally I NEVER played a public lobby in my 200+ hours of playtime until last night, and it was the best experience in months with a few adults using mics.. and they knew right away how to cooperate in this mission and not f*ck around.

We ended up finishing every round in less than 3 minutes.

Oh.. and it pays amazingly.

it's like wading into a freaking battlefield

RPGs flying everywhere, jets and buzzards raining missiles down on them

tanks blowing stuff up

just the atmosphere of it, plus the fact that it requires good teamwork is nice.

I hope the creator keeps making new versions. I'm at work ATM but definitely can't wait to try it out! It's been forever (if ever) since I've felt any kind of team mentality in GTA O.

Can't play this being on Xbox, but I can see this mission being fun for a bit, and then getting really boring. I'd rather play a long, thought out, challenging mission, with decent pay of course, than just one of complete chaos. A mission where there's multiple paths, and strategies to explore. But that's just me.

GTA fan term of the day:

Fun - when a player of GTA Online gets a lot of money and repeats the same process hoping for something to happen.

Not to be confused with Fun - A source of enjoyment or pleasure.

You like being super wrong? I don't. That's why I don't sh*t out of my mouth onto the keyboard. Nice aim though.

Chaos. I don't give a sh*t about the pay...but that's why most people play it. They think it's justified to make $75K in 5 minutes.

Hey c*nt not all of us sit behind our xbox or ps3 all day and night and live in our mommy and daddy's basement, or "game" for a living lol most of us don't have the time to grind so yeah, if a mission is tough but not too long and pays out well then I would certainly say its a good mission.

no you wouldn't the fact that you are playing RR clearly means that payout does matter to you, as there are like 12-15 other missions that are much tougher than RR and payout between 15-18.75k, yet you seem to be fixated to RR.

I think I'm going to wait it out till R* finishes that end of May online shutdown and maintenance thing, chances are they will try to target those who have been playing this mission non-stop, my advice is all the payout you earn from both the FOS missions, spend it on anything and everything you haven't bought yet in the game, R* doesn't go beyond adjusting your RP or bank balance when it comes to fixing abused missions.

This mission is simply damn fun. I think the fact that npc's lock on to your buzzard with rpg's makes it challenging. And there are explosions everywhere. Everywhere!

A Maned Wolf

Because its challenging, fun with others, and pays very well.

Which is what 90% of the other missions in this game lack.

You dense muthaf*cka! Actually I took RR as example because of its "popularity". But as you are analyzing my case so well doc, you should know that I don't give a damn about money nor level anymore. I'm a miilionaire in this game since the days you could glitch/sell the same car again and again without even waiting between sales (rage on that if you like, homie). Being around lvl100 today, I dont care about leveling up neither. So most of the time I really just like to play with people I know OR join randoms on contact missions. FOS gave me the kind of fun I like and I'd love to see everytime I log in.

ok....you guys should really stop arguing.... it really isn't doing anything, especially considering I'd like this post to possibly be seen by someone at rockstar who can see how much the community loves it and why. I'd still play it if there were fewer cops but it took longer (as mentioned with the moving truck/tank idea posted on page 1)

Using those ideas the mission would be longer, for sure and more worth the money as an actual mission.

Where the f*ck did that come from? I have a typical 8-5 Monday-Friday job. I go to work in the morning then when I get home I get some chores done around the house that I own, then turn on GTAO and relax for awhile before watching some Netflix. This game has been out 8 f*cking months, it's not my fault that you suck at time/money management in the game. f*ck. If I think $75K for 5 minutes of work is way too much, then f*ck it, that's what I think. No need to call me a c*nt.

I think the car in your sig may have a blown head gasket or cracked engine block. Shouldn't have smoke coming out of the tailpipe like that.....

Besides the obvious pay of money and RP, unlike every other mission where you are told to take out a gang, follow a car, or steal a boat, etc, this mission requires interaction with other players, creating strategies, and the challenge of it makes it so fun. I can honestly say I met some of the coolest people playing this mission. Even if the pay were less, I would still play this mission over and over. Don't be surprised if this mission is more fun than the overhyped Heist mission.

I don't hate or condone the job, I think it's pretty crappy and very poorly made but if people enjoy it then that's all that matters. Like others said though, if the payout was $5k or 10k nobody would play it. Good for those who don't glitch I guess.
