Killed by tank; insurance?

Lately i have been killed alot by tanks because of people trying to do some fast "psycho-leveling" (i guess). Anyway, when they blow me up with their tank, i have to pay the insurance for my own car. This is very sh*tty because i like to drive around in my adder which is $12500.
This has happened so many times now that my adccount soon cant handle more. I had to sell a few cars in order to get some ammo-cash. Money have never really been a problem until now, even though i race and do a mission every now and then.

Is this a bug? Do the tank need this too (not paying for blowing up cars)? Isnt the tank overpowered enough as it is? When i blow up cars with my buzzard, c4, granade, RPG.... i have to pay for peoples cars.

Get the tanks out of the games or stealable from base only!!

Because rockstar thought that a tank that is nearly indestructible,has an incredible rate of fire and is used primarily for griefing was a bit..... Underpowered.So they made it so the Yoloswaggers and other scumbags in tanks don't have to pay insurance.

I cant know for sure, but seing people being killed in the city and then 1 minute later show up with a tank??? Really, you think they have visited the base??

oh right...because when I save up for lets say a vacca, and it gets destroyed 4times in 1minute(just for the sake of this example) you don't have the ''right'' to buy a vacca because paying 6k every few seconds/minutes is too much/ what a bullsh*t excuse...

I had my Phoenix blown up the other day, cost me a whopping ~$300 to get it back (fully modded even). I guess R* needs to discourage yoloswaggers from driving adders and entities (and now zentornos) somehow

OP, not sure how but people send their cash to another character, so they have zero money anf can kill everyones cars at their cost. This is a simple fix that Rockstar could implement, i feel that cars should be automatically be sold if they cant cover the cost, then behavious would get better, especially if it was a random garage slot.

 

The problem is this is a single player game with bonus multiplayer, so we cant expect a fair and pleasant experience. Lol.

 

Back on topic, BlackCreek please try out the worlds newest sport..... bridge jumping. Find a high one, you know the rest.

There are other cars besides the adder, you know. Sure, they're not as fast or as swaggy, but they get the job done. If you still need speed, why not get a jester or a massacro (fully modded insurance around $3k and $3,250 respectively). If my adder gets blown up, I usually call insurance then the mechanic to get me a less expensive car. If you keep getting your adder back then driving over by the tank again, isn't that just asking for it?

People would grief tank drivers by ramming thier cars under the tank even if the player was afk to make them pay insurance and get bs points. To counter these griefers r* made stationary tanks not pay insurance.

I know, but how much fun can you have with half-speed and good traction. I drive the adder because of the sh*t traction and intense speed. Its a WIN combo IMO.

 

Regarding people crashing into tanks. Ive never done that, but i see the point. However, the tanks fire the cannon, they dont run over my car. Should be easy for R* to make implement a piece of code that checks if a car is blown up by the tank or its cannon.
