Just booted up and rather than only saying X for online or story mode I have a triangle button icon for event.

yeah it's sucks these aren't non contact races, you would think they would want to use that since that is their new feature...

Not every one is keen on sissy racing, Non contact ( ghost ) racing is just another way to say I'm bad at driving. ( not judging ghost racers ) but if you are being serious about it. We cant turn physics off IRL just to win a race..

 

All im saying is, some like to race at their own pace, others wish to express their emotions through contact racing at high speeds.

Ramming someone to win a race just because you can't drive properly yourself is sissy racing.

 

Or do you at least turn on Gta mode, police and traffic and turn off slip stream and catch up?

 

Seriously, if you say non-contact is sissy mode I hope you're a hardcore racer that uses the most difficult settings.

The physics of standard racing sucks for collisions hence Non-contact > Contact

Non-contact is only player vehicles. You can still hit fences, lamp post etc.

 

It's not a silly race, the best racer wins instead of the idiot who rams everyone else out of his way.
