warlord GTAV
hopefully this means dlc is coming soon for sp and they needed to add this for future missions.
HOW'S ANNIE?
I'm surprised very few people have made the connection so far actually. I doubt that Rockstar would go to such lengths as to intergrate such a small feature into a single player game, that they haven't updating in months, for no reason. warlord GTAV, Trevorphilipjfry and theGTAking101

I doubt that Rockstar would go to such lengths as to intergrate such a small feature into a single player game, that they haven't updating in months, for no reason. 1) It really shouldn't have been that hard to make. They already had the code for the Online, and all they would ha en to do is make their own little tweaks and test it. 2) It may be a small feature, but I know a lot of people wanted it. 3) They've updated SP with every patch since Online got fixed
Trevorphilipjfry
Not saying you guys are wrong, but how would adding the interaction menu open up mission scenarios that were unavailible before?
Cutter De Blanc
1. Put on the mask 2. rob the thing 3. Take off the mask (using the Brand New Interaction Menu) 4. DaRkL3AD3R
I f*cking love how this patch change isn't mentioned at the top of the notes with the other "major" changes and is instead at the very bottom of the list like it's some ultra minor change. This should have been in the game since day one along with car insurance and mechanic. Not to mention how some random no name silent thugs are able to afford 10 car garages and high life apartments and yet the BILLIONAIRE major crime bosses in single player are stuck with sh*tty 4 car garages and trailer park trash homes. They really don't give a f*ck for single player anymore. Gotta get them cash cards and MTF don't need em. theGTAking101, HisWharf, Doland J. poland stronk
Not saying you guys are wrong, but how would adding the interaction menu open up mission scenarios that were unavailible before? 1. Mission requires from player to use a portable object. i.e. suitcase wih concealed weapon or take someone's clothes and put them on. 2. Mission requires/suggests to put a mask/disguise so you can rob or scout a place and leave it after you lose the heat. 3. It may allow us to use MP3 players to listen to radio stations or custom song list on foot. 4. It may allow us to store guns and other equipment in vehicles and then retriving them. 5. Some places may be off-limits for people with guns i.e. casinos, airport, banks. so you may have to throw them away or store them in car or safehouse. 6. It may give an option for Franklin to put a leash on Chop and take a walk with him. 7. It may give an ability to surrender yourself (or fake it) if there is too much heat from the police or other enemies. 8. You may plant a bomb in a car (leave concealed sticky bomb inside) or lock it (save it somewhere on map) or put a tracking device for your GPS. These are just ideas that may incorporate this Interaction Menu in missions and side-activities for repetitive use. Honestly, who the f*ck cares where the patch note is on the page, as long as it's there? 2) Animals, a story, etc. also should've been in Online from day one, and they still haven't gotten any of that. But let me guess, that doesn't matter, right? Because SP-only players are better than Online players? 3) If they didn't give a f*ck, they wouldn't update SP, they wouldn't create DLC for SP, they wouldn't even create a SP. Think. MikeyB
I read somewhere that you will be able to access the cheats from there. Because they are adding so many more, it would be too hard to remember the key combinations. Or did I just dream that? :-/ Edited May 22, 2014 by MikeyB

Think. 1) I f*cking care isn't that obvious? Where it is on the page of patch notes speaks volumes on how much they think about single player and how they want the casual players and game journalism sites who only have headlines and discussions about "major" changes. This apparently isn't one of them, if you'll get led like sheep by Rockstar towards their Cash Cards Online mode. 2) I agree these things should be in online because it would make it a better game to play and more worth spending time in. Unfortunately they're not but do they have any value? I mean animals really? For what purpose so you can run one over every once in awhile and pretend they have any relevance to the game? No now compare this to the mechanic and car insurance features which have a massive impact on your ability to stock up on custom cars and get around the map. Huge f*cking difference. 3) They only update single player because GTA Online as of right now requires GTA V to function. You can't effectively use one without updating the other. Content needs to match. And so far I have no confirmation on any single player DLC. Where is it? No where.
Geralt of Rivia
1) To each their own, I guess. 2) Online's missing a story. A story is what brings a game together. GTA: Online is just mission after mission after mission because it has no story. It has no big picture. Online's missing a huge element to basically any game. SP's only missing out on a few features. 3) What? They've confirmed and talked about significant SP DLC, along with new flight school and assassination missions to arrive before it. Also, those guns and cars we've been getting are DLC. Edited May 23, 2014 by TheMasterfocker
Cutter De Blanc
1. This is kind of basic human psychology, the most important things are going to be at the top of the list. That's how most normal people interpret it. The lower priority things at the bottom of the list. 2. Have you ever played an MMO before? There's no more story in your average online game than there is in GTAO. Edited May 23, 2014 by Cutter De Blanc DaRkL3AD3R
Geralt of Rivia
1) "And last, but not least" 2) Elder Scrolls Online, the Star Wars one whose name I can't remember, etc. all have at the least remnants of a story. GTA: Online literally has nothing.

I doubt they'll add cheats to the interaction menu, but I do see them adding the snacks/drinks and cigarettes/cigars thing down the road.
