How do I host FOS V3?

Played this with a few crew mates last nights and here is my conclusion:

 

- Payout is $150,000

- RP 5000

- It's chaotic and very difficult.

- Super fun and the best mission I've played in a long time.

 

You must be extra high in order to enjoy it fully

I don't want to become involved in this argument but down time is only for one hour supposedly from 4-5 am, and as was mentioned, we don't even know it's linked to FOS. The guy who made the mission should be congratulated IMO. We need more stuff like this from Rockstar. Payout could be negotiable but the mission is undeniably fun.

Version 4 is still available to play; pays 75K and 5K RP. I suppose that could change any minute now though.

What the hell are you talking about woman? the reason why the mission pays out so high is because whatever algorithm that R* uses to determine payouts are based on difficulty, NPCs, number of them, how hard they are, how good their aiming is, etc.

 

R* determined that algorithm, it's why some of the really fun 'Mini-heist' capture jobs pay out like 20-25 grand. Are you going to make the people who made those missions feel guilty for making them.

At this point, I would absolutely wager that this is the case. The exploits used to achieve this are only really applicable to the PS3. It can't be done on Xbox 360, at least not anywhere near as easily.

Don't get too bent over a 1 hour shutdown, and a community enjoying a 16 player co op mission, the way this game was meant to be played.

that is the most asinine statement I've heard all day.

 

Just what exactly is the contradiction?

and yes there is an "algorithm" when you create a job the more complex it is, the more cash and rp you make, everything contributes to how far you drive, to how many NPCs you kill, the difficulty of the NPCs you killed, whether the mission is time based vs point based, even number of players in the job, etc.

 

it's how the capture "mini-heists" have been made and why they are so popular.

no I asked you a direct question, because all I have said in this entire thread, not regarding Xyn, was that I wanted to try the mission that's it.

 

Like I have said, if this was a grab 10 briefcases in 10 seconds for a 75k payout, yes I agree that R* should take it off, but 75k for a actual hard but fun paying mission, I don't see what the problem is.

 

Especially since that's what people have been clamoring for, Harder Missions, Higher Payouts, all the time I hear about how missions suck because they aren't fun, missions suck because they don't pay, on and on and on.

 

So now we have a Hard mission, harder then anything R* has provided us, it's Fun according those that have played it, and it pays well.

 

Am I missing something here or is this not what people have been asking for???

This. Mission is awesome and payout isn't really that inflated. Sure, $75k is a lot, but the mission is harder and takes longer than a quick RR blast or two.

who knows, maybe 63k isn't as bad as 150k given how difficult the mission is.

Its really only about equal to the double payouts or original payouts like we got that weekend a couple weeks back. Rr would net you 70k every 12 mins or so with loads this is almost exactly the same pay.

Sure it was fun, but its hacked. How so? Simple answer. R* hadn't released a Versus/Mission creator. Now thanks to this, they'll never be.

How did it affected Xyn? Maybe she was hoping for a mission creator. Thanks to this cool but glitched mission, her dream will never come true.

"How is it glitched when it was made and published with the in game tools?" Are you joking dude? How could it be a VERSUS mission if we only have Race/DM/Capture creator? You can't make a versus mission with Capture.

We do have fun missions, as provided by R* especially including those added with High Life. Problem is you peasants who equate payout with fun.

 

And as has been stated before, not everyone has a lot of time to play. So obviously affects people who have more limited windows for gaming. And knowing what day it is for Xyn specifically, her annoyance over it is doubly justified.

Um that's not how Me or my crew plays and we had a ball doing it. Everybody is enjoying this mission I've talked to all day from the glitchers to the people who only play for fun. Matter fact I know 3 money glitches who said they would rather play fos than glitch seeing as its more fun than glitching.
