i'm sorry if this was asked before, i didn't bother with looking it up even though i know there was threads about the mental state feature.

i just don't think it really curbed gtao player killer's blood lust or incouraged tank griefer's not to kill everyone.

The mental scale shouldn't dissuade people from killing - it just tells others how much YOU kill. Due to it changing based on pedestrian kills, it isn't really an accurate form of judging if someone will KoS you.

at least the cops need to be fixed, the gang members in los santos start shooting at you near cops and they usually don't do anything until you fire back at the gang members in self defence.

then the cops try to kill you.

i don't mind jets since i never been killed by them (as far as i can remember) but one time i was saved by a player in a jet, i robbed a store in blaine county and i was being chased by kill crazy cops.

It's a good idea but a flawed implementation. Take out npc kills and it will be very much improved. Arguably it doesn't need to register in invite only/crew sessions either.

 

No idea why the secondary poll options are all about tanks as very few mental state threads are complaining about tanks...can't vote as secondary options aren't relevant.

Quick tip: If you're going to make a poll, don't have the thread title and the poll itself ask exactly the OPPOSITE question. State the question in the title, then repeat it again inside. Otherwise your poll is a "failer"...

Only thing I can say about mental state is that the current implementation has not achieved what it set out to do, IMO, and that Rockstar should probably revisit it in the next patch.

You don't need to kill a single player to go full psycho. First time I filled the mental state bar I didn't kill anyone. Just a shedload of cops.

Voted random on the second question. Tanks aren't really that big a problem unless you're actively trying to destroy them.

 

I think the mental state thing is a good idea, but having it apply to NPC's is stupid. How are you possibly. annoying/grieving an NPC. Also I think there should be an option to turn it off between friends in case you want to have a gunfight with them.
