Golf is actually nice

I like playing golf, it's just sometimes my fingers slip and I mess up an easy shot. Also I just got screwed out of rp from my last game, 4 under par but only got around 2200 rp.

Golf and Darts are my most favourite mini games in the game. Great fun when your playing with your friends. Really hope they do add that Casino in the future so we can play poker. It'd be fun and hilarious

Who the hell want's RP when Level 120 is the cap for unlocks? I only do missions for the cash, I couldn't care less if there was no RP in them at all. I can level up playing the game in freemode.

The only thing I don't like is hole 7 because it runs parallel to the track on the left, which really leaves you a very slim fairway, and anything not on the fairway is considered out of bounds or an unplayable lie.

If you hit it just right and get some spin on it, you can bounce the ball off that cart path and get a really long drive.

Btw guys Little off topic but sorta on topic of playing sports.

 

I have made this capture for a GTA style football. Its getting a nice buzz 82% rating with like 85 plays in 4 days. See my post here.

 

Its basically a unarmed capture mode touch football style, grab the bag in the middle and run to the goal/ touchdown. Great with 10 players.

Can you be killed while playing Golf or are you immune to damage while playing? Just curious if I should be mowing down these Arnold Palmer wannabes in the Lazer.

The course is just there, kind of like for decoration. You are put in a seperate game to play, just like with missions, racing, etc.

I don't know, maybe people trying to get to level 120. You only do missions for cash because you don't need to level up anymore. A very large portion of the people playing the game aren't level 120. Getting RP in free mode is infinitely slower than getting them from doing jobs, and it doesn't exactly pay very well either. It's not that hard to understand, is it?

Played my first game last night +8 lolz. I learned a lot about the strategy of it though. At first I didn't realize you could switch clubs. I also didn't know you could shank a shot until it was too late. I got destroyed but it was fun. I got dressed up for the occasion which added to the realism. If it increased strength more I might actually keep playing it.

Me and my crew mates play sometimes. we all go to the clothes shop first and put on 'Golfing gear' because golfing in a suit or biker gear can look a little silly. it can be really fun especially if there's a full group of you. I despise tennis though, incredibly annoying.

golf is ok. but it is often best on your own, so no waiting around, or with friends, for lulz.

Easy? Did you shoot under par first try?. BTW yes its probably the best part of GTA v. Its very well done, in 1990 it would have been a fine stand alone golf game.

 

More like in 2005 or even later!
