not true. They can rearrange the interiors on buildings with simple code. Or they can rearrange weapons to certain Ammunation locations. For example they can put a stun gun in the game and then say that it can only be purchased from Paleto Bay or Sandy Shores. Or they can redo the Ammunation shelves to just display 1 weapon per catergory, freeing up multiple weapon slots on the wall

Well we know Heists are coming next month. R* has said they want to continue holiday DLC what better holiday then 4th of July? Something like a Murka pack with Jeeps and revolvers and Red, White and Blue suits. Count on some holiday stuff for online and paid stuff for GTAV. Anything else that comes out will be a nice surprise.

 

Also, I seriously, SERIOUSLY, hope we get more than 2 guns. Hell take the damn hammer and broken bottle out of Ammu-nation!

Most likely a few more DLC's that introduce more overhyped hypercars and pointless things.

 

Then it will be time for the real stuff (Paid DLC) to shine:

 

- Japenese Import Tuner DLC

- American Muscle DLC

- Gang Life/Ghetto DLC

- Grand Theft Auto DLC (Lets you perform more theft and steal supers off the street (Online) etc)

 

At this time, this is what it will be like in my opinion, personally I would pay for the first 3.

From what I've read in the last few months however it's almost suggested that it could stick around for a year or so after that. It's entirely dependent on how well games do and if Sony feels there's still worthwhile investment in it. I wouldn't be surprised if it stuck around for that much longer either myself.

I have high hopes for GTA online. I'm sure R* will maintain it in a good way, and I think all the updates that we had so far are only icing on the cake.

If anything, they'll keep making new DLC. I mean, this game will continue to be played for many many years from now (about 4-5 to be exact) unless a new game comes around. However, I don't think just one game will stop R* from making DLC. So, you have nothing to worry.

Sony are in a really bad financial situation, if they feel the PS3 isn't making enough money for them they will drop it if needed. Sony, in it's current state, isn't in the position where it can do much about the older console not being profitable. It'd be keep it online and lose more money or take it down and focus on the PS4 if they were losing money on the PS3.

GTAO runs on R* servers, it will go on for a while regardless what Sony does

Sony wants to get rid of continuing costs supporting these games. Look for everything to migrate to cloud servers like EA and R* run in the next few years.

Don't forget that allegedly GTAO is not part of GTA V...so my understanding is while more editions of GTA come out, Online just continues to get upgraded. Now, if the next game is set in another city, it will be interesting to see how two cities works online.

I wouldn't agree with that...

 

If you go into an ammunition, before approaching the counter, the wall where the DLC weapons are is blank and only become visible when you hit the right directional button and scroll over to them. R* could come up with a way where, if you hit a button while on the wall, the wall "revolves," displaying an entirely "new" wall of weapons to purchase.

 

Perhaps, like outfits in the clothing stores, some DLC weapons will have to be "special ordered" by selecting the ammunition clerk, or even over the in-game internet. Once you "order" them, it takes a few minutes, like buying a car and you get the notification that your weapon has "arrived" and is then put in your weapon wheel.

 

Just because there doesn't appear to be room for more than two doesn't mean a mechanic can't be developed to "create" more room.

I'm just ready for paid dlc, hopefully they will include a lot more content. I do know once Watch Dogs comes out I will not touch GTA until Rockstar releases the next update which is supposed to be the Heist update.

It'll probably be like SA and NYK in GTAV but obviously you could fly to it instead of being restricted by missions.
