How many DLCs are still to come?

I'm not sure if I should spend the 2.5 million I have left updating / buying cars, or wait until future DLCs and see if they release something worthy.

They'll probably keep releasing new cars and clothes until GTA 6, so if there's nothing you must have now just don't spend the money.

One thing is for sure, only two more DLCs will include weapons. Ammunation only has two more weapon slots, so we're probably in store with two more "stuff" packs.

Well i hear the heist will be the last free DLC (confirmed?) so the next will probably be a single player payed DLC. lets just hope they show GTAO some love adding things for us there as well.

My guess is that after Heists is released they will focus on a story DLC. Then after that they will probably close everything and just focus on new titles. So i wouldn't worry about spending money.

We all want to believe that they will put out new content for at least 2 more years but it's just bullsh*t.

These are not DLC. Huge difference. These are updates, updates are mandatory to play online. DLC is optional content that is totally up to the player to decide to buy or not, it will not effect them from still playing online if they choose not download or can notafford the content. DLC will be also ( at times ) a little larger than the content we have recieved over the past months. The updates are to address issues and bugs in the game, the added content is really RockStar keeping the game fresh until a major DLC is realeased

Dont wait for tomorrow when there is fun to be had today. Sure grinding for cash is getting harder but its a video game and if there is something out there in online that you want because it will give you some serious gameplay fun then spend spend spend and have fun fun fun......

 

I'm sure heists will give you a great cash boost anyways

One would think any paid DLC for the single-player game would include some kind of major new deal for the online, just to get more people to buy. Like the rumored North Yankton thing.

 

I do think there'll be one paid DLC and that'll be it. R* has too much money to make from making new stuff like a RDR sequel and GTA 6 for the Xbox One.

 

Oh, and I disagree that heists will pay well. You saw how the new missions pay. Heists will probably not pay as well as Rooftop Rumble.

I could see some new small DLC in the summer maybe, along with the stunttrack and casino stuff mentioned in that file called mpdlc. I actually like getting these little packs with the new cars, so I want to believe that there will be a few more to come (maybe with some more normal cars).

Microsoft said only until 2016 the 360 will remain online.

It's not like you have to actually work to earn more money in this game. What's the worst that could happen?

 

As for the packs, I think they'll keep em' coming. We still have Heists, the mission creator, animals and hunting (files found), the UFO easter egg isn't complete yet, the jetpack (which might be part of the UFO easter eggs), and any other unannounced things still in the works. R* is smart.....they see people playing this game for years so they're spreading the content to keep it fresh and making them free so the decision to buy is when you WANT. That's smart marketing as it keeps us playing and the game feeling fresh without having to consiously pump money into it (Which COD does with their maps) ......At least in GTA, we buy what we want rather than joining the crowd because they all bought the pack and we can't play with them.

 

The experience is more personal and customizable to the user.
