Had an idea about Simeon vehicles - "special vehicles"

Normal crate drops are marked in GREEN.
Special crate drops are marked in YELLOW. They attract more attention from the players than the standard crate drops.

 

How about a special vehicle, marked in yellow which also appears once in a blue-moon? I would also code this vehicle so it was one you could store, and for the more expensive options (I probably wouldn't offer anything over 500k), have a good number of NPC enemies defending it or even, after a short time, have the vehicle drive off so you must chase it to retrieve it.

As I say, this would only happen once every 12hr game session for example, but would allow those players to get some quick cash from being able to sell this one vehicle, or choose to keep it.

Having said that, why don't you post that in more threads? I can see several posts, questions, ideas etc that can belong in other threads. For the most part the administrators aren't seeing much of an issue with it.

Well, look at the Onine trailer. The guy in the Vacca and the guy on the bike were competing for that Cheetah.

 

Why not have it where every once in a while, an Extra High Priority vehicle comes up, which can be sold to Simeon for 100-250K. (Vacca, Cheetah, Bllet, Infernus etc). This would also be a way to keep it without buying one, creating a really, really high demand, causing the whole lobby to go after it.

 

Although, you wouldn't be able to insure it, you'd have to complete another mission afterwards, where you assassinate the owner or something, then burn their house and insurance documents down.

 

Any addition (except the mental stat) is a good addition, right?

I really like this idea. The high priority vehicle has become a little stale, and is very rarely even touched. Many times recently I've taken it because the other 15 people in the session don't even care enough to blow it up. I also think that Simeon is a tight bastard and we should get at least double the money we do.

That's the idea though. Better skill + off radar = more chance.

That sounds awesome, because everyone will run towards it. The standard priority vehicles right now nobody even bothers with much.. Not enough cash to go through all that effort

I like this idea, I just hope the payouts won't be glitched like the current ones (you have no idea how many times I got ripped off by Simeon).

It's either this or they increase the payouts for the HPV exports.. it doesn't make sense eventually delivering the car in mint condition while having other players chasing you, only to get paid $5K.

exactly it just doesn't seem worth the effort..

Yeah the standard vehicles must be delivered in absolutely mint condition to get the full payout, and even then the most I've had is like 13-14k.
Should probably be doubled.

I have plenty of other ideas, such as a helicopter pilot you could call on to deliver you a Pegasus vehicle via Cargobob (aircraft would be winched to your location)... or even better - let's see the Skycrane in the Online mode and have that used instead.

It's a shame that Rockstar doesn't enhance/tweak the already existing game elements with something like your idea.

 

New game elements like drug dealing etc. may lay very ahead in the future:( So they should at least edit already in game elements.

 

This is from another thread were I came up with this:

 

"Let Simeon pay us more for delivered cars of a certain color. Let's say we deliver a red car (all the shades of red will do) and that's what he is currently looking for (the color he is looking for will be totally random) therefore we get paid more: certain car AND certain color = MORE money than just certain car." This is for the cars we get listed in the SMS.

 

And change the requested vehicles to super cars, it doesn't make any sense that Simeon wants regular cars when there are all these expensive cars in the game.

You get paid extra if you deliver it before the time runs out or normal if you don't make it in time.

I agree with the other guy... Isn't there a thread you can post this stuff in? Other than that, I hate seeing threads with people's ideas. Its just an idea and I already get enough roleplaying while playing GTA. I don't want to see threads about other people trying to roleplay that they are working for R*'s planning team.

im actually one of those who blows up the simeon vehicle in a public server.
