I've heard the kalahari is actually decent off-road, but looks rediculous IMO

ok, tried to get a MW Mesa last nite from a gang attack, near the fort..... couldnt save the jeep. is there another way to get one?

 

PS: if it involves save editing or some hacker/mod crap, i dont want any part of it, great vehicle but not worth risking the ban hammer coming down on me. thank you in advance

MW Mesa but only if hardtop and cage less, I find those roll bars horrid looking.

If u don't want to dupe someone's or bring one in from SP then just have a friend call mercs on u, kill them and take the Mesa.

I have not found ANY off-road situation that a Rebel or MW Mesa couldn't handle. I have both the Rebel and MW Mesa and love them. Got rid of my Sandking some time ago and never looked back. So if its between the Mesa and Sandking... go MW Mesa.

No, mission and gang attack vehicles are not storable. You have to call Merryweather on someone

Sandking is 2WD due to a glitch that R* said will try to fix by patch 1.14, but in all fairness, I only have MW Mesa because it can be tough catch now that you can't store mission vehicles. But aside from that I love the Sandking XL, its just a little bit off looking like a monster truck, and has awesome speed and handling.

@themasks I take my Mesa to that area all the time, it may be slightly lower but I've never gotten mine stuck.

Instead of going from side to side go up and down the river, the sandking will own that anyday

I love the Mesa for off-roading. I love the Sand King XL for truckin fools, literally.

You can store the Mesa , it's still in my garage. It just has to be from calling mercs, can't store from gang attacks or missions.

Yessir. I just got mine from the mercs, called by some asshole I was griefing a couple nights ago. One of those vehicles I always wanted, but had to wait until I had a second garage.

the gangattack version of mesa can be storable but you have to use a blue circle(race,jobs,...)leave the car inside the circle,enter the lobby and back out.
normally the mesa will outside the circle and it can be stored/insured but it's not sellable at LSC.

The dubsta is a lot better than the mesa since it doesn't tip over easily, and the bodhi is also a great choice for general off roading.

The Merryweather Mesa is a bad joke it keeps trying to topple over in high speed cornering (none of the other cars I have driving in this game have this issue). It looks cool but that's about it. The Sandking RWD or not is the superior off-roading vehicle of the two.

Nah, just find a spot with some cover (before the other person calls them) and blast away. You've most likely faced the MW mercs in missions, they are not any harder to beat. Best of all the person who called the mercs get their money back because they will fail to kill you.
