In the interaction menu go to inventory. In inventory go to body armor.

In body armor there is a list of your armor inventory. Highlight the one you want use and click it. If you want to show it click auto show armor to on.

You can join a new session to have your armour automatically off. You can even change clothes to switch the armour off without having to leave the session.

Hope I helped.

ok I found a very easy way to hide your body armor, no changing clothes, no buying new armor, none of that, heres what you do:

1. Hold down the "Select" button until the Interaction menu appears.

2. Then select Inventory.

3. Then scroll down and select Body Armor.

4. Next scroll down untill you see the armor you are currently using highlighted (Heavy, Light etc.)

5. Now press your Square Button

6. Press it again a few times and watch your Armor appear and disappear.

That is how to hide your armor, you do not have to cover it up with clothing, start a new session, uninstall and re-install, none of that.

GTAMYBABIES you have it almost right, however, the last option, "Auto show the armor" will not make it disappear from your character's body, only by pressing the "Square" button after the armor is highlighted will make it disappear.
