Race Bets RAISED!

So ive been playing everyday for around 6 hours a day even more some days the minute High Life update came out and racing most of that time as thats what i do, you could always only bet max $2500 on yourself and/or other players, this has now only changed as of today, 3 days after the update, its now gone up to $10000 per person.

Just strange this didnt take effect with the update but only 3 days later, not that im complaining.

Is it possible for other things then to only start taking effect from now on after the update without us realizing?

Be interested to hear what other little things have changed only now and not from the update release date...

Somehow I still lose money even if I only bet on myself and I win, so I won't take the risk of losing even more money, betting is terrible in this game anyway cause if you bet on anyone their odds of winning magically increase.

Bet $100 and lose the race and you will be out $100

Bet $100 and win and you will win more than $100, a lot more if there are several racers.

What's the point in bets? I mean, really?

I have placed, and have had placed on me, the full $2,500 bets and myself, or those players have won, and we simply get the $2,500 back. So we don't make money.
Put a bet on someone who doesn't win and you don't get anything, you lose.

Or am I missing something, and the "odds" are actually to do with how much you stand to win, as opposed to the odds devised from their race win/ loss ratio (for example).

All of this goes back to cash cards and how the devs are manipulating the game to minimize how much money people can make.. kind of sad. If I want to bet my $3.5 million on a race then so be it... and so what if he gives it back to me on the next race. Who gives a sh*t?
