Rooftop Rumble Document magically destroys itself

So basically I've played some RR missions but since the new set-up of the mission (the enemies in Fugitives and the dude who spawns also in a Fugitive with the document) I've experienced a new bug where after killing the Professionals, the mission ends and it says "Mission Failed | the document was destroyed"

 

Anyone else experiencing this? Time to go back to Coveted for my money cravings for a while

I've experienced similar, as in the car blows up after being shot once through the back window with an AP Pistol. Unless the AP got patched to fire explosive rounds or the car is coated in nitroglycerin, I'm chalking it up as a really bad bug.

I found a 16x Potshot playlist and until those bugs are fixed, I'll be playing that.

Nah I'm not talking about the dumbasses emptying their smg on the car and then get surprised when it blows up. What I'm talking about is a situation where after the professionals are killed, the document does not spawn and it instantly says that the document was destroyed even though it wasn't even there yet.

Yeah I know what the OP is on about, very frustrating, You kill all the goons in the lot, and you wait for the doc to spawn but it doesn't, then it magically gets destroyed. That other thing others have mentioned as well sucks, where you shoot the car a couple of times and it goes bang. I bet you R* made the damage onto the car like 70-80% on purpose to further p*ss people off. I had to restart it 3 times in a row cause it just randomly blows up after like 10 hits.

Yep. Mission is partially broken. No explosions whatsoever, but you fail the mission after killing the last agent. Its pretty hit or miss right now

I never end up killing them all ever. After I clear the garage and the one car, the two cars show up and I'm already in my car in the alley behind the garage. I shoot one or two guys in the car coming straight at me. After one or two of them die the document spawns without fail and I leave the remaining guys and car behind and get the document

I had this a couple of times today when I played with randoms, never when I played alone.

The cause of it is probably the cause of the glitch in Coveted, When the guards flash in and out of the mission when you look at them through the sniper scope, Someone in the Lobby probably has a bad connection.

i don't care if i empty all my ap ammo shooting out the windows. cars don't explode from having the windows shot out.

remember that link to game addiction. where the developers make loot chests not pay out on purpose to make you play longer.

that is what rr and the armor truck have become. you put in the effort but don't get the payout. making you grind your time away instead of having fun.

You can play trash talk,bust out,helicopter tail(trevor mission)mix whit the coke. The payout is pretty well too

its so simple. Stay at the back end of the garage corner (where the bridge is in the alley way) and take out all of them in the middle. If you do it right you can kill 80% of the guys before they even go into cover. Next run to the left side where the street is (the street that has the two bridges over them on both sides) and take out the oncoming car. Then wait and the professionals will spawn coming straight in front, take em out with one clip when approaching you. Then Document will almost always spawn on the bridge next to you. Aim high and get close, the AP is powerful but accurate. Ive done many times now but its best to do it alone cuz other people always fu*k up and just start shooting right away.

It's also way too easy to blow up the car, and when I'm tailing the car, shooting out the driver and running over the document after he drops it has happened as well.

 

I don't mind added challenge, but it's pretty crap.

The car is apparently pretty weak. Wherever you shoot at, it will explode in no time.

 

Plus, this car may be spawning and going at your direction in hostile manner, sometimes even has red blip before becomes green.

 

Another occurrence is "Mission Failed: Out of Lives" which happened to me twice while some players are still out there.

 

This mission is f*cked to the core, thanks to Rockstar.

I find that when people get all competitive and swarm around where they know the car with the documents spawns in order to be the one to collect them, is when it f***s up.

 

I think the game tries to spawn the car with the docs but sees other players' cars in the vicinity and decides not to spawn.

 

I always wait around the corner for it to spawn and go after it then. Haven't failed the mission solo for a long time, it takes about 2 seconds to catch up with it if you keep your distance so there's really no reason to try and rush it.

nobody ever joins trash talk for some reason. it pays good and its fun to do

Actually this has been in all GTA's. The car/ped/etc won't spawn directly in front of the camera.

 

Why do you think that, when you want to steal a Lazer, you need to look backward? Because the enemy Lazer won't spawn if you look backward.

Happened to me while playing today with 2 other randoms. No Felon ever blew up and the f*cking retarded c*nts, thinking I blew it up, started shooting at my Sandking XL, had to run them over to make a point when the session timed out.

Earlier today I tried playing this with 3 strangers. We failed 3 times before I quit. I thought it was just them blowing up the document.

 

 

Then about an hour later I tried playing it again with some randoms and once again we failed. We replayed and failed again. By now I was thinking that it was b/c guys were trying to jump the route and camp out waiting where the document spawns.

 

 

Then I just played again with more randoms and this time all 4 of us where INSIDE THE PARKING DECK and running to our cars when the mission failed.

 

 

Okay enough of this. Something is broken. Once I saw this latest failure I came here to see if anyone else was experiencing this.

 

Not accepting anymore invites until I see folks here saying that the mission is working again.

I usually use a heavy pistol and aim for the head, Ap pistol is too risky, however dumbass randoms will never figure that one out -_-, Also sometimes randomly during the mission, all of a sudden everything stops and says everyone died even though we're all alive.

It works fine doing it solo for some reason.

Not true, i always blow up the two cars before the document spawns, and don't have the problem.

 

It seems to be when you play with randoms, because when i play with me and my friend i never have this problem.

I disagree over this one. I always use my method of camping above the nearby bridge and kill everybody before hitting the marker. Not a single problem for me here.
