Bawsaq real time market advice (not the assassination tips)

Ok, if you are done everything you can do to make money in the game and are now living paycheck to paycheck or just want to grow your fortune even bigger than it already is, follow me. I have been following the market for months and I have well over two hundred billion dollars per character! I'll just start throwing the market trends up here for you and if you're smart you will follow them and get richer. First rule. Ignore LCN. Bawsaq is the money maker. Right now there are 4 steady gainers to put cash into. PMP is the highest priced, but if you have the cash, they are a steady gainer. I dont know how long it has been going up, because i wasn't following the high priced options and just noticed. SPU has been going up for about 2 months with no sign of stopping. It also has a high price tag though. CNT took off a couple weeks ago and you can still make good cash with them at less than $50 buy in. If you are low on capital, the cheapest buy in that is looking to be a winner is WAP. I caught them at less than a dollar per share and now at 2.23 I have a total of almost 5 billion on that one 1.75 billion investment. And it looks like it is going to continue to rise. So my advice is save your game and then buy WAP and watch it grow. Check back in here daily as I will post up as soon as I see ANYTHING that might jeopardize my advice! Happy gold mining!

It's true that you can forget all about assassinations and LCN. But you don't even have to monitor the activity like you do.

All you have to do is log on to BAWSAQ and check stock prices. Once a stock goes under one dollar or so, go in big and wait a few RL days. It's only HVY and HAL that hovers around one dollar normally - all others will rise sharply in short time. The CNT-stock has made "my" Michael 100 billion dollars in the last couple of weeks. I went in and bought the max amount of shares (2.147.000.000) at around 0.90 pr stock - now it's in the forties...

Your only problem will be to spend it all... :D

You got that right. Any time you can grab something for less than a dollar per share, jump in with both feet. Even heavy or HAL is a good buy if you can get 2.14 billion shares under $1, it's a nice little chunk of change when you sell close to or over $2. I watch it close just as a hobby/addiction lol, but it's fun to catch a wave like CNT. I got into sprunk early and made my fortune there and have been watching the trends ever since

I suppose the only thing I have to add is to go all in early on a Monday, I heard the Stock Market barely moves on the weekends (In-game time of course). Otherwise, some great tips Daberg70! :)

Another quick note on your comment, I wouldn't forget the assassination missions, as they give you a good starting bankroll. You have to have money to make money, like they always say, lol. And the problem with the stocks that rise sharply is they also fall sharply. Good fo fast cash if you stalk the market. Just in case anyone wants a solid bet on a steady riser without knowing anything about bawsaq, I figured I would share what I see since I'm stalking it anyway. Lol.

I got on the WAP (dept. of water and power) stock last week when it plummeted to 0.30. I bought the max amount, and am already seeing a very healthy profit.

Whiz was my initial fortune-maker.

About assassinations; yup, they are a great starter. I myself found it a little too fast, however, so on my next playthrough I'll do them once they appear. :D

it used to actually be down on "in game" weekends, but I've noticed lately that they are pretty active even when my game says it's a Saturday or Sunday. Idk, every day is some new surprise with this game. Lol. The bawsaq is the only thing really to do in story mode right now until they finally get us some fun single player dlc. In all reality they should just come out and sell us a wide open single player that let's us buy anything and everything. (10 houses, 50 cars, a giant aquarium with a shark in it! Lol) seriously I hope they open this game up to do something with our cash! We are isolated from online anyway, let us have some fun outside the story.

I agree completely, after making millions in the final heist, and potentially profiting into the billions (using the stock market with or without Lester) and all we have to spend it on is modded cars and buying ammo? Sure the properties are okay, but if you have at least a billion dollars, even the golf club's "high price" is chump change. Give us something else exciting to spend our hard-earned money on Rockstar!

I played through a second time just to squeeze extra cash out of the heist and assassinations, but if I knew then what I know now, I think I would have just invested what I had and still be rich without replaying the entire game. Unless you are trying to get a 100% completion and missed a couple things. I gave people rides in my first play when I should have been feeding them to the cultists, etc. Lol this is a sick sick fun game.

Hahaha, it's the exact same story here! Only reason for second play was missed assassinations. Now I'm looking forward to getting rich long before they even appear! :D

Do it now! The sooner you start over, the sooner you will be banking again. You will fly through the entire game in no time now that you know what you're doing. :)

Correct, sir. :)

It was 0.16 when I went in, so my first ten billion came from there. The point, however, is not the development over the last 24 hrs, weeks, or whatever. The point is to buy stocks priced under a dollar, and you will make money. Guaranteed. :D

And btw; the diagrams and percentages are uninteresting. What matters is price per stock when you go in.

I wonder how much they charge to buy a share when it's in the negative? Lol

Today I sold off my crevis shares for a 6 billion dollar profit and walked away with over 8 billon. I bought 2 billion shares of HAL for .84 and put the rest of the profits into CNT since I already have 2 billion shares of WAP. I kept a billion in my pocket for walking around money to buy and mod random cars and pay hospital bills. Lol.

My tip for the day is after you load up on something that is under a dollar, put the rest into WAP until it becomes unstable and stops moving upwards. If you have 2 billion WAP shares already put the cash you have left into CNT as that is the next best bang fo buck steady gainer. If i see anything different happening or if you guys notice anything, post up here right away. Cheers!

Still holding my most recent HAL shares simply because it has hit $3 twice in the past week a nd I'm holding out to see if I can catch it close to that. I see right now they are 2.45 and to be honest if I was at home right now, I'd probably cash out at 2.45 simply because there is so much to be had for less $ bringing a larger return on the dollar.

Tip of the day is any time you are holding a cheap stock that is in profit and you see a different stock drop to a lower price, cash out and buy the cheaper stock asap. You can juggle HVY and HAL for a week or so and easily walk away with few billion in profit.

I'm sorry if it bothers you. No I'm not really sorry. I was not editing my previous post, I was adding a post. Get over it.

Edit: on the mobile version I could not see that you are a mod, so sorry for the disrespect. What's the big deal with adding a new post once every couple days? It's not like I am bumping the thread every 2 hours...

The cut and dry version: it's spam, and it's part of our posting rules. I know you're new, but come on man.

There's nothing wrong with bumping a topic every couple of days, and I understand you're trying to keep the topic from getting buried, but you had more than what we typically allow for posting.

I bought 50million dollars of HVY at 1.79 last night. I hope it doesn't lose money. Franklin has been going broke through a series of bad investments.

To the mods, it's absolutely not spam if I'm not sending bulk messages as advertisements or profiting from the posts. I'm sharing insight about strategies of the game. Ease up!

On a lighter note, if you log into the game right now, you can grab WIZ at 0.3 per share! Good luck!

Cutter, if it drops, just hang on to it until it swings back up. HVY can get up well over $2 if you just wait for it.

Daberg70, you'd be wise to listen to any and all mods, they're mods for a reason. Also, in the Forum Rules, it clearly states: "No Spam off-topic, nonsensical, one word or otherwise pointless and non-contributory posts, double posting is frowned upon, and only allowed if necessary. Do not bump a topic unless needed." Like Moonshield has said, simply use the edit button.

Back on topic...

WAP just surged from 5.25 to 35.18 today!!!

That means those of us who bought in below $5 just made 75 billion dollars! Now the question becomes do we sell out or do gamble on it continuing to rise?

That leads me to my tip of the day! Save your game and sell WAP...

The probability increases when a stock gains sharply that it will also fall sharply. If you save your game then sell, you can reload the game to before you sold if it continues to go up. If you don't sell now, and the price drops right back to $5 you just threw away 75 billion dollars.

If you guys like my advice hopefully you're reading this thread and just made 75 billion dollars like I did. Please post up a reply for me at least once per day to keep the evil mods off my back for wanting to freely share my game tips. Thanks.

P.S. if you find yourself asking how to sell $75 billion worth of stocks when your account will only hold 2 billion, here's another tip. Roll it 2 billion at a time into weazel. WZL is stable and stays @ $1000 all the time so your cash will be there for you whenever you need it. Cheers!

NOTICE: weazel is no longer stable and recently spiked and has just fallen below 999 to 998 for the first time since I've been watching the market. A good alternative for high dollar banking would be "pump n run" as long as they continue to climb. Keep up with my updates and I will always tell you the best options to keep your cash safe.

Quick update: reason why I said save before you sell, I went back and reloaded at 41.5 after it maxed at 47 and for a couple hours worth of banking, upped my return from 75 billion per character to 95 billion. Not bad for a days work. :)

Where are you people getting these number from? as far as I can tell the game maxxes out cash at 2.15 billion, thats as high as I can go even though michael brings in just under a million a month it doesn't add up, I think you all may be counting zeroes wrong, go to the rockstar social club and see what it says about your money, and btw whiz (wiz) made my guys rich.

The game itself doesn't max the cash at 2.147 billion, the hardware on the game system does because the number 2,147,483,647 is also the maximum value for a 32-bit signed integer in computing, which both the 360 and PS3 uses. Take a look at this topic--> http://gtaforums.com/topic/642741-is-2147483647-the-maximum-amount-of-money/

True your personal bank maxes at 2.1x billion, but if you roll your profits back into other bawsaq investments, you can have as much as 2.1x billion shares per company. So the max amount of cash you can actually have if you are creative would be 2.1 billion shares of the highest valued stocks x the maximum number of investments that bawsaq allows at one time. (I think you can have like 8 investments at a time, but I didn't count them when I reached the limit in the past) right now I have close to $200 billion per character just in sprunk stocks alone.

To quote the game, I trade pure alpha!

This is fully ligit. I have made over 6 Million between the 3 characters in 3 days. Bought 1-2 million Whiz shares at 0.88 on Wednesday. Sold them at 1.08 on Friday. But forgot to sell Michael's stock, just sold it for a profit of 4 million. Had I gone if hard I would be sitting on 100's of millions by now. Nice work Daberg70. Lets hope any dwindling player numbers on 'Online' won't kill off this awesome way of making cash.

Thanks simba! If you want a really nice quick boost of cash, grab crevis below $1 or even between 1-2 and let it go around $6. I've got my eye out for the next big gainer you can get for cheap.

WAP is still falling and CNT looks like it may have hit a ceiling.

GOT looks like it might be starting to take off. I will edit this post again soon and let you know if GOT still looks like a safe gamble or not. Cheers!

Edit: 5/25/14

GOT is still hovering between 10 and 11 dollars which is the highest it's been in 30 days. I'm still not ready to put my money into it yet but if i see it take off i might have to jump on that wave.

I'm glad i haven't sold off my CNT shares because they are back up over 56 again which is a good sign

If you had any weazel shares, please dump them fast. They are falling off a cliff.

Same goes for WAP. If you bought them cheap you might still make a profit, but they are going downhill fast! Wait until they bottom out and buy back in alpha style and see if we can make another 95 billion!

Cheers!

This is a big update! If you have shares in CNT, watch it closely! It was hovering in The 50 for the past week and today it has spiked to 77.8 and still rising. You want to save your game before you sell, and jump off the wave if it starts to fall off. We are talking about a huge fortune in this spike. As soon as I get home I will check my numbers and edit the post with the dollar amount. I hope you guys have been listening to my advice and rake in the cash!

Edit: Ok, they are at 82.8 as of right now and no sign of stopping and I am looking at a profit of 93 billion with Franklin. I'm just holding at this point and not going to do what I did with WAP simply because it takes like 2 hours to roll 300 billion dollars into other investments 2 billion at a time. Lol! I never thought i would complain ab o UT too much cash, but for the sake of time, I'm not touching it. If it's your nest egg, you might want to save and sell just to make sure you don't lose anything. Then you can always reload if it keeps going up. Cheers!
