Obey Tailgater patch 1.13

I stumbled across one at the golf course the other day and it wasn't one of Simeon's five cars. First time that's ever happened.

 

Would driving a certain kind of car help, like how the Sultan pops up easier at the prison if you're driving a Sports car? I think I was in my Exemplar at the time I found the Tailgater, but I might have been in my Tailgater.

 

My Tailgater was my main car for MONTHS. I can't get rid of it now, it's like family.

 

EDIT: As people have mentioned, it also spawns in the blue parking lot in the movie studio.

the casino parking lot by the horse track exit is also a spawn point, as usual the text helps a lot.

Got mine in 1.12, so idk. Maybe it's just bending you over the barrel

Funny how people HATED the Tailgater, Bodhi, and Franklin's Buffalo in SP mode, constant threads of "How do I change the default vehicle?" and random negative comments in discussions...but NOW, everyone LOVES them

I liked them from the beginning of the game. I see nothing wrong with the cars.

Also check the blue parking lot in the movie studio.

 

This is where I've had the most sucess, found it twice there on both characters without the message from Simeon.

Would any sedan work? I might have to try this later in a private room. That was a revelation in trying to get the Sultan for a friend. Drove over in a Coupe, nothing. Finally got the idea "wonder what happens if I'm in a Sports car?" and boom, easy-peasy.

Got mine 1.13. I also got it in 1.12, drove it cautiously to LSC and noticed there was someone down there. When he went into LSC, i legged it down and he came out just as i got down there. He killed me, stole it and took it back to his garage. pissed

Just found one parked at the marina parking lot, pulled in with a mañana hardtop, no Simeon list. If only I wanted another one

I've kept mine stock and fitted ignition bomb - so funny when people stumble across it parked on a street and think they've found one - I literally lol out loud when it blows up!!!

picked up a tailgater in golf car park today.

still spawns, but I guess its just luck.

I found an NPC driving one around in a Invite Only session. I posted a thread to discuss this occurrence but it was locked for some reason.

Observatory spawns there even when it's not on Simeon's list.

I don't know how many times I've told people this but if you drive a sedan to the LSIA/Airport you can find a Tailgater. Observatory works too.
