Obey Tailgater patch 1.13

I have had no luck with finding this car in the usual spots for the last couple of days. Has the patch removed it from circulation, or is the game just bending me over a barrel? Anybody have any tips on finding it?

Wait until Simeon asks for one and do laps around the golf club until one spawns in the car park.

 

The car park next to Del Perro pier is also a good spot.

i got mine about an hour after the patch. about the tenth time at checking the golf club car park.

Spawns in same places as before. One spawn point where I have seen it without the text is the parking lot in front of the Rooftop Rumble garage. With texts you have a guaranteed spawn at tennis court by the beach or at golf course.

Isn't kinda strange they didn't add the tailgater to be purchased online, since they already have added others that weren't previously purchasable?

I got mine a few days ago. Just randomly seen it parked. Its strange though, because I've never noticed one before that, not ever!

Found one last night for a friend, in the parking lot by the beach. They're definitely still around.

Wait until Simeon asks for it, and it will POSSIBLY be at the beach, near the tennis courts.

 

If not, try the Golf Club, that's where I got mine from.

Got one 2 days ago at the golf club, repeatedly played hole 3 and checked the car park after the respawn.

alright everybody, thanks for the replies. I'm just going to keep looking then. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't removed or something. Usually it takes me forever to find the specific car that I'm looking for, then once I have it spawns everywhere. It's also funny how you can get michael's car in online, but not franklins (through normal routes).

GTA online has a way of knowing what vehicle you are looking for and never spawning them but as soon as you stop looking you will find fifty of them

I find it easy to get the Tailgater at the Race track & the Rehab center that at the Golf course

I tried the observatory parking lot 30 times with find new session (had luck with that one before), also tried the house on the west coast highway 20-25 times (also worked before) and driving around the golf course parking 30 times but still no luck.

 

Eventually I checked out the race-track and after my first reconnect there I found it! And I didn't have any text from Simon.

Finally found one at Chumash today - I'd not been deliberately looking because I didn't have space until the High Life update, but I'd never actually checked the Chumash houses to work out where the spawn point is. I took a photo (which demonstrates that I was driving a stolen Schafter) just in case anyone is looking for the house in Chumash; it's just south of the pedestrian bridge over the highway, on east (mountain) side rather than the beach side.

 

 

Might be helpful to somebody! Oh, I should add that I had delivered a Simeon car a couple of hours earlier and not had another text from him; I still haven't as I type this, half an hour after finding it. And it was unlocked, like the other regular spawn point cars I've found.

Deleted mine by mistake the other day.

 

Had a Simeon text so I changed session until I got the Tailgater list.

Drove Golf-Beach-Helipad for less than an hour in invite only session until I found one. However after getting bored driving I jumped in a helicopter and flew from the helipad to the beach and there it was.

 

And that's how I found a Tailgater in 1.13.

Well you have to remember it spawns in maybe three other places. The golf club, the observatory, and the beach parking lot. But I found another for my new garage last night. It isn't that hard, as long as you know where to look for it.
