luisniko
Rather than boasting and act high and mighty about how easy RR is, I think I should just share a little tips for fellow members who are still struggling at obtaining the case because of Document Guy's car exploded. I understand that not everyone are good at aiming. With the tension of the chase, people want to kill the guy quickly with rapid fires like AP Pistol or UZI which eventually blow that weak-ass car out. The solution is always there. It's on the underrated handguns. Slow fire rate and strong damage is your best friend here. Therefore.. use Heavy Pistol. Just relax and tail the guy, get close and shoot his head. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Ninja_Gear
Start mission, call Pegasus, get Rhino, blast everything, get out tank and use tank for cover. Chase the case down with any random car, finish mission. The Deadite

Bradillac83
The same could be said about any of the missions requiring you to kill a driver but not destroy their car because of valueables inside or the car itself. I can't hit the broad side of a barn so I need high-RoF weapons like the AP Pistol to be effective during drive-bys. I actually don't use any other sidearms at all, and didn't bother purchasing the Heavy Pistol. I find the trick is simply to aim for the windows and only spray in a horizontal arc - so you'll either miss, hit glass and pillars, or hit the driver. Ramming him off the road and sandwiching him between other vehicles / obstacles to immobilize him is almost always my primary goal. Shoot his tires, spin him out, force him into oncoming traffic, force him into walls and lightposts. Plenty of options other than firearms. It Takes a Thief and Editor in Thief are definitely the most aggrevating because the vehicles are fast and have small rear windows. All that said, I never really cared for RR and now they've only added a layer of putrid icing on an already unappetizing cake. Defender will always be my favourite mission. -KM-

luisniko
Pop the tires and then headshot the driver when he crashes into a wall. Easy peasy Well, this topic is basically about people who are not accurate at shooting. You may pop tires easily while them may not. This still excludes the major problems of Mission Failed because of Document is destroyed before even spawn or just spawned and Out of Lives which basically when there are 4 person, 2 dies, the third death will fail the mission. Just happened again, for the 3rd time. I guess Rockstar want people to get away from this mission but they don't have the balls to do it because people will send scorching anger e-mails to them. daboy042188
the tires aren't that hard actually, you just get your dot anywhere in that circle, pull the trigger and accelerate. it's still WAYYYY easier if you have one driver and one gunman but i've solo'd it by popping the tires and getting them against the wall for a second and then popping the driver
GTK0HLK
Editor and theif is a bad example, since you can snipe them, then go in to take the case,(it takes a thief starts with a chase, so makes more sense, but their easily pit manuevered, so they just end up trapped, and you just go up to them and kill them. either ways, i just hold my weapon level to how the windshield is of another car, and just stay behind the target vehicle, and adjust alil and then their done, and use the vehicle to adjust as well,(cause im not moving the camera view, and the vehicle at the same time, only one is necesary. its simply done, though the chase part deters people from focusing, (and you don't need to be on their side to pop tires, since most cars are not modded with suspension and etc, just shooting where the back bumper's tires are, would pop it, eventually if not after a few secs,)
daboy042188
I'm always wary of popping it from behind because that seems a surefire way of blowing the car up
GTK0HLK
I'm always wary of popping it from behind because that seems a surefire way of blowing the car up if your using higher dmg wep(i.e:AP), or not exactly aiming where you should, and just vehicle shots(and not the tires, or the part of the window where the NPC is.) luisniko
High fire rate weapon isn't your best friend here. Any shots to the baggage or roof will blow car up. The car health is smaller than any normal cars.

Good luck. I've been using heavy pistol since my 2nd RR post 1.13 - In my 1st I smg'd the car to bits in a few seconds and it blew up. After that, you realise just how much time you have - slow driver, long drive, and no goons. I just wish I could get an invite from someone who realises the other "best tip" - don't start guns blazing, walk up to the 3 outside and pistol whip them, then chuck a few 'nades in the parking lot. Everyone I play with starts shooting straight away, by the time I get to cover my armour is gone usually.

luisniko
Anyone played this lately? I came across this mission tonight and felt the car to be even weaker than before. I used my own trick with heavy pistol. The guy was hit but wasn't killed yet. Then the car roof took several shots from me and before I emptied the magazine, the car was blown up. It wasn't that weak before. I tested it a few times to ensure that heavy pistol works good. Also, the chance of the 'Document Destroyed even before the notification comes up' seems higher tonight. icanplayallday
crash/push the car into a wall and you have a lot more time to aim. And very close range Edited May 21, 2014 by icanplayallday

am30
SMG and only one player shooting at the guy with the documents. If you're not good at aiming whilst driving (like I am), I'd suggest aiming slightly high and then move your aim down to hit the driver. Might take 2 or 3 clips to get him but it seems to work for me. Either that, or you can wait until the car stops at its destination. I've been using heavy pistol since my 2nd RR post 1.13 - In my 1st I smg'd the car to bits in a few seconds and it blew up. Everyone I play with starts shooting straight away, by the time I get to cover my armour is gone usually. This is why I can only do this mission solo. Can't stand other players who don't wait or give everyone a fair chance.
havingfunz
Is heavy pistol better or uzi? I really hate all those uzi rapid fire missing the guy, but I"m worried too many shots from the heavy will result in a blow-up just like with the ap pistol. tidus47
I think everyone misses this tip... When u aim in a car, ur hand goes out to the left. So when u shoot in one, always aim off towards the left. Meaning u adjust the camera such that the driver's head is not in the center of the screen, but about an inch to the upper left. Also, I found that if teammates leave too early and sees the car carrying the document before the green dots appear, mission fail. So wait for the dot before moving out. Do not know y it doesnt matter when solo... am30

No wonder RPG-carrying players blow three cars sometimes.

RR is much more on the exhilarating side of mission Coveted gets better if you do playlist and bring in tanks or buzzard. Tank can be brought in with the cargobob. And because of playlist it stays in the mission Edited May 22, 2014 by icanplayallday ninjaontour

the nameless
I have a new issue with RR now - at least half of the invites I get that put me through to the lobby, the game starts with just me - even if there are 2,3, or 4 of us when the game launches. This takes me ages because I don't have back up or an rpg/granade launcher. As for coveted, playing that solo takes me longer than RR. For less RP.
