In pretty much all modern day production cars they're manual. Not quite sure where this guy came up with that they were dying.

idk much about cars to begin with but I know manual > auto.

yeah, kids don't understand the gameplay decisions R* has to make in order to make everything functional, specially wide the wide array of options the gameplay gives you.

 

you can walk, drive, shoot, swim, etc...

 

you can't expect the driving to be on par with racing only games as you can't expect the shooting to be as good as a dedicated shooter.

 

but no, gta has to have everything so kids don't have to buy other games.

 

those in gta who focus in on one aspect are playing the wrong game, gta is for those who like a bit of everything.

knowing you can't ever have quite everything.

 

you're actually praising rockstar by comparing their mini games with full fledged titles.

gta golf is as good as any golf game i ever played.

 

so before your MT we need more courses.

Maybe not in europe, but in japan/ america, manual cars are being outphased by automatics which are more "city friendly". Manuals are just not being desired by people there apart from driving umm "enthusiasts". Man that word brings a sour memory from another thread.

So what. Is the average person going to BUY a supercar? It's more like 1,000 automatic Camry's to 1-4 Ferrari's sold, if not more. Be realistic. Even the new Z06 is Automatic.

It's a little amusing that anytime someone suggests the game be more strategic or challenging the noobs just won't have it.

 

Operate a manual transmission? WHAT?! That's like rocket surgery bro!

 

In all likelihood that's why we got dumbed down driving that automatically brakes as soon as you release the accelerator, while the actual brakes stop you in 20 feet from top speed, and a traction control system that rigorously monitors your fun level.
