The hell they aren't lmao The only thing they come in nowadays is a few choice Ecnobox's really, most of your high end sports, or sports cars period are now a base paddle shift without a clutch, and I don't care what anybody says, if it doesn't have a clutch, it's not a damn manual.

If people really wanted to drive a manual the last place would be in GTA. You really think youre going to be driving down shifting gears and shooting simultaneously? Go pick up forza/gran turismo OP.

I could do it. I think most people could. Plus it's not like it wouldn't be an option or anything.

cars went realistic speeds
there was a speedometer

the right stick was to shift up/down like in MCLA or B and X like in Forza (Square and Circle for PS3)

Why wouldn't that be possible? It's not terribly hard to code a speedo and tach in to a game. Freelance coders/modders have done it for every other GTA installment.

MT will be gone in arcade like sandboxes that may or may not be catered towards kids

In realistic-like racing games, MT (with clutch if able to) is the way to go

Lol what makes you think I don't play racing games, I play other games as well as gta which is why I'm not bored and complaining like some of you clowns

 

Like I said you would use r1 or x as clutch (interchangeable) and the left stick up and down to shift which would only affect body physics if the clutch was held, if you're not shifting gears you could very easy do wheelies and stoppies on bikes

 

I'm clearly 15 heard old cause I want to be able to race with a manual transmission, if you don't know how to drive manual that's not my problem you can play with automatic transmission and I'll slap you racing with my quick gear changes and downshifting

 

Not to mention that this would make drifting possible and it would make some of the cars with shorty handling easier to take turns in and keep under control

gta5 will never have manual transmission or lowrider hydraulics simply because there's no more buttons in the gamepad available for extra functions.

 

why don't you go do that on a racing game? it's stupid expecting gta to cater to every feature like specialized games do.

 

dafuq why don't you go ask racing game developers why you can't walk out of cars and have big detailed maps and hell even shoot at other drivers too?

 

when you demand more features make sure there's controller options available.

 

between onfoot/vehicle/misc controls i'd say there's just no way to assign more stuff.

 

i mean i'm pretty sure that's why RDR/MP3s switch shoulder aim angle never made it to V.

 

There's definitely room, just have to be innovative.

GTA is a car game, as well as a 3rd person shooter and a sandbox free roam game.
