How much cash cards you bought

Quite a lot. I won't post specifics because the broke-ass tweens who think they're financial advisers will just tell me that what I choose to do with my money is wrong and blah blah blah.

I mainly purchase them as a sign of thanks to R* for a great time had.

I find the cash cards debate quite funny, with accusations being thrown both sides of the fence.

The real conclusion? You're ALL losers! We're ALL losers!

Buying cash cards --> Spending real money on fake virtual money --> Loser

Not buying cash cards --> Instead spending endless hours grinding because you have so much free time (out of work/can't afford cards) --> Loser

"Yeah but you don't need to grind" --> Broke loser (or glitcher)

0, I have enough free time to play the game, plus there is still some money glitches available in case I need money. I'll never spend real money for in game money. I get in game money by playing the game, yes using glitches it's technically still playing the game.

This is a play on the whole "time is money" saying. Those of us who have a bunch of free time, most likely have little money. Those of us who have little free time, most likely have more money. So you either have time or money to throw into the game. To be honest, it's kinda dumb to brag about which position of the two you're in. Like others have said, either way both groups could be ridiculed.

If you have a job you like, then doing the "grind" at work to make money and spend it in game is probably more fun than grinding RR all day though.

You can't hate the cash card idea. It's making that dlc that you hate free. Imagine if you had to pay for it?

You must really suck at gtao to come up with this crap theory  I can easily earn about 150k per hour why would i need to buy them? There are at least a few thousand better ways to spend your money than to buy a shark card, loser :lol:

Who's the loser ?

Edit: I hope my math was right . I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't

I thought I was going to drop around 5mil on the update and ended up spending just over 3 so i'm sitting at 9mil. I'm not going to buy the dlc cars though.

Haven't bought any cash cards and never will.

Maybe if I had the time to grind and farm and glitch I would be saving myself money. But I earn and get to spend it on what I want . I feel bad for you little guys who don't get that yet .

Go cry to your daddy asking for a card..

Why should I buy a card if I can get money playing?

I don't have anything against anyone purchasing cash cards but as full time working gamer that only has time to grind mostly on weekends and 2hrs max everyday on weekdays, I still had more than enough time to grind just over $10mil from the time High Life update was announced to the day it was released. Granted my was rank 100+ so had access to RR but that just means other lower ranks could have grinded the $12.5k-$15k missions.

cause it takes a while to save up for anything. The missions hardly pay. Why should I play 6 to 8 hours just to buy a car? And more time if you want to mod it.

Well said. That's why I don't understand the point of these debates. Buy whatever you want.

I just don't like that R* even implemented them in the first place. They are simply a shortcut. Other than that I got no issue with how people spend their time/money.

so you rather pay 15 bucks for the business and 15 bucks high life update? Its a clever system if you think about it. Mature working ppl with a busy life buying cash cards to play along and the little kids with too much free time can play all day long to save money for cars/houses etc. the only flaw in their system was the absence of heist so that ppl who also work and are busy could also come along because of the bigger payouts. i don't think R* sees cash cards only as a profit. i think they also use that money for keeping it running and keep supporting gta:o with updates and such and maybe for a PC/PS4 edition because i hope they use the profit from gamesales for gta:6. they've always been an company that's not afraid to invest large amounts of money in their games. give them some credit for making the best game for the ps3/x360

I dare say cash cards are the whole reason for gta:o. Micro transactions is where it's at.
