Phoenix, Ruiner or Sabre Turbo?

Hello everybody,

 

I really want a old school muscle car but I don't which one to get. Any suggestions? And also please tell me why (Looks, customization, performance etc.)

Now we can own 20 cars I have all 3. And a Vigero.

 

Overall I'd say the Sabre looks the best and the Ruiner drives the best, but the best advice I can give is get them all!!

Vigero. Looooooove the Vigero. Handles beautifully, great sound. My favorite drive-around car.

I have 2 Phoenixes and a Ruiner. Sabre might make an appearance at some point.

Ruiner out of the three has the best handling and id even say speed. If driven all three and i like the sabre turbo the most but the phoenix has the best customization options of the three.

My personal order of preference.

 

1. Sabre Turbo (this is the most old school car I think). Plus it has some good customisation

options and I love the engine through the hood option.

 

2. Ruiner (this is the 80's in my view), good handling car and again some good customisation and I love

the Shakotan exhaust on this car.

 

3. Phoenix (this is the 70's in my view), very bad handling car in the wet but again has some good

customisation but it feels a tad slow on the horsepower and as I say let down by the brakes.

I own all those and the buccaneer too. Out of the 5 the buccaneer is prob my fav, but to answer the OP, I like the Phoenix the best of those 3. Just looks the best imo and has more mods than ruiner (not as many as sabre tho), but I agree with KnobCheez that ruiner drives the best

Sabre and Phoenix. I love the performance of the Sabre and it's automatically my favorite muscle car. My Phoenix is mostly used for looks to replica the Trans-AM.

all great cars. i have the sabre, buccaneer and (still looking for) a phoenix. had the sabre since day 1 and will never get rid of it, it has been a favorite since S.A. loving the bucc and have alsways loved the phoenix also, i had one but lost it due to my own stupidity when moving cars between the two garages and havent seen one since. would show pics but cant post em while at work (supprised i can get on this site at all) It is always hard to give advice on what car to buy cuse i just wish more people in this game would drive what THEY like not what everyone tells them is the fastest or whatever....

 

edit: i used to have a ruiner and i loved it but don't really miss it that much. if you go for it be sure to get the roof type you want, like many other cars have it is a non lsc option to have the t tops open or closed. wish it was an option like the phoenix

The ruiner is one of the fastest muscle cars.It drive's like a sports car and is faster than a gauntlet/dominator round tracks with a lot of corners.But it's not a very likable car.The sabre is a nice car but easy to spin out.Personally I would go for the phoenix.It's the most fun by far.

I own all 3 fully modded and i say the Phoenix hands down. While the ruiner has slightly better stats the Phoenix is just dead sexy (especially without a spoiler! MMMM....dat ass.) Its handling is loose and the brakes are meh. Couple that with its power and its exactly what a muscle car should be...a challenging and fun beast to drive. Once I got driving it down it quickly became my go to car. Put black paint and gold snowflakes on it and prepare to run defense for Jerry Reed with Sally Fields (gross) at your side.

Its really a hard choice. I myself am not really a fan of the buccaneer or vigero that's why I didn't include them in my question.

I had the sabre turbo before and I really liked the car, but it was just way too slow. I think I still like the looks of the sabre the most (with phoenix coming in second) but the speed and handling aren't that good (But I do love to drift with it). I will probably get the sabre unless the phoenix or ruiner are really better performance wise.

People bash the ruiner cuz they think its slow. Personally I have a ruiner amd sabre because the sabre is sexy

I would say Ruiner. Its a shame though that these YOLOSWAGS put that ugly ass Shakotan exhaust on it. Makes the car look like some deformed child.

Hmmmmm. I might get both the Ruiner and Sabre Turbo for now. I'll sell one later (when I get enough cash to buy and customize a sports car or something)

yeah agreed. Get all these in your garage OP and forget about that ugly ass Ruiner. These three are the sexiest and funnest to drive. If you want a racer that doesn't look ugly as hell, get either a Dominator or a Guantlet too.

Phoenix for the sheer looks and good top speed just watch out for the fishtailing, it's great once you control it but.

 

Ruiner for a good balance and decent looks.

 

Sabre Turbo for a decent balance but a slightly driftier rear end but more controllable than the Phoenix.
