Bulletproof Rear Vehicles Unbalanced and Illogical

I myself don't mind when someone tries reversing their car to try, and kill me. I pull out my rocker, or grenade launcher and blow their car up. So what you can't shoot them through the window. Their back sides aren't invulnerable when it comes to a rocket, or even a sticky. Learn to be creative.

Bulletproof-backed vehicles have really ruined the concept of free roam. They either need to be nerfed or every vehicle given the option to have a bulletproof rear window to compensate.

 

Everyone drives around in a Zentorno or an Entity (or, in the 4x4 days, a Sandking with the double roll bars) which makes for a boring and unrealistic game devoid of any type of real personalization. Collecting cool cars is pointless when 99% of them are simply not practical in free roam with trigger happy 6 year olds, and Terminatoresque Mercenaries and police around. There is simply no incentive to driving the car you like when an Entity can pass you, stop, and blast you with an AP Pistol while you have no recourse of action.

 

I understand the idea R* had in mind. Make it through the long grind up to $1mil and you too will have the protection afforded to players who were loyal to the game and put in hours of playtime. But, 6 months later (especially with all the $2bil bounties and car dupe glitches), the Entities and Zentornos are no longer special. No one’s impressed by them. Owning one doesn’t represent style or hard work. Just because I choose to drive a Felon does not mean I’m poor and need to work harder for a bulletproof rear car like the Entity. I have millions in the bank, lvl 130+, and I simply like driving the Felon. And the game punishes me for being unique and realistic.

 

tl;dr: bulletproof rear cars are unbalanced and furthermore, illogical. Stop appealing to little kids in an 18+ game and end the stupidity.

 

The game is not punishing you, players are. If you have millions in the bank, just blow up their car. There's really no need to bitch about it.

I've been playing since launch, and while admittedly I don't play for hours every day I have played a fair bit.

I've only encountered one asshat purposely using this to troll me - I solved it with a grenade (sticky probably better).

Did you realise that the whole Pegassi family have bulletproof backs?(Except the Bati). The Zentorno,Monroe,Infernus and Vacca are all bulletproof.

You unlock C4 at level 20...

 

Also, you should be well aware of lock-on (and the 2 alternatives R* created for those who don't like it) by level 20. So that is the official level where if you drive past someone and get killed, you are out of excuses. I have not been killed in my car by lock-on since last year because i adapted, its time you did... or go FA. You are in AA by choice, man up.

I can pretty much guarantee rockstar didnt intend people to get those cars to have extra protection.

My main character is level 145 now with no money and I RPG every idiot in a Zentorno or "bullet proof" rear vehicle. After a dozen PVs I destroy I switch to a new session and still get $2000 for good behavior. No cheap kills...

Bullet proof but not rocket or sticky proof!

Anyone who shoots at me or comes at me with a "Zentorno" or Z-type gets blown up quick. I've got money for days from farming missions.
