Richards Majestic Garage Entrance Problem

There's always a parked car (sometimes two) blocking the driveway. This is my first time owning an apartment at this location, I have no clue if this is normal, but I do know that it is annoying.

Rockstar said they fixed it, so yeah

a) It's a known issue &

b) It's not actually fixed

Cars parking over the entrance to Richards Majestic is a problem. R* thought they had

fixed this but they haven't.

I moved back out of that apartment into the war zone because it was impossible to get a

car in and out of the garage without damage esp the Sandking or having to move the parked

cars and risk a bounty.

Its one of the worst drive ways in the game... One of the reason why i moved.

So it looks like until they fix this I'm going to have move back to Weazel or try my luck with having two apartments in the same building. More goodies more problems, heh?

Pretty much.. Personally i moved because of the drive way problems and living next door to Weazel. Free roam trolls get a 2 for 1 camp zone in that area.

But to each their own i guess.

This is kind compared to what I usually do to cars blocking my off road/motorcycle garage. I keep my super/sport cars across the street in the wease.

I had issues leaving the garage. My cars would get the front bumper damaged because the garage wouldn't open fast enough. So I moved to $500,000 Eclipse Towers.

This is why I live in Weazel Plaza, it has it's own personal driveway which is pretty nice. What bugs me about it is that sometimes players just camp to kill someone after they get out of their garage.

I've always lived at RM, and 95% of the time there will be a car (or two) parked in the way. I've grown accustomed to it and actually find it convenient regarding car sales -go right outside and grab random nice car.

1. They're rarely there.

2. They leave plenty of space to get out.

If I can get over it, so can you. Plus, it's usually some free money because it's a Baller or Oracle or something.

This is the real problem. Edited by ModderX

A friend of mine owns a Richards Majestic apartment, and he always wrecks his car on the way out because of the door.

I live in Weazel Plaza and that garage door also has an issue with not opening in time, but it is not as severe as the other apartment.

As for cars parking in the way, I thought there was red lines in front of the entrance, so people are not allowed to park there.

There's a lot of exaggerating going on in this thread.

This is my experience with the Richards Majestic garage...

There is *often* 1 or 2 cars parked overlapping the garage entrance - half of one of the cars will be in the way. There is *always* room to get in and out without even touching them, but if you're going in then who cares about that? Your car is about to be magically fixed anyway.

I have got very, very minor damage on my car a very small number of times. I can't tell you exactly as I obviously haven't been counting for 7 or 8 months or however long it is, but it is no more that 5 times. The damage is so minor that even when I have bothered to get it fixed out of curiosity, I've only had to pay around $100.

So basically, sometimes I have to squeeze past a car or I get a scratch from the door.

That's my experience.

Tinsel Towers has a similar problem, the animation when you leave the garage drives you right over the sidewalk and partially into the road.

This means you either hit a passing car and sustain damage, or you run over a pedestrian, sustaining damage and sometimes getting a wanted level.

Alta Street probably has the best garage entrance.

I live at both majestic and weasel lol. I just run across the road to get to the other garage. It's nice.

I laughed so hard I almost cried at that. So true about the game in general. People freak out if you wreck their PV, even if you pay insurance.

I tried living at RM for a bit because I think the low level apartment is actually great for trolling. I think I just got annoyed by how narrow that driveway is, as well. I hate that driveway and I'm not a fan of Alta's, either. Too easy to get potentially ambushed.

I live at Richards Majestic and it's rarely a problem to get out of the garage. In fact, I can't even remember the last time it was blocked.

Sometimes it's a problem, sometimes it isn't.

OP said always. Must be true.

No don't fix it. It gives people a reason not to buy the place and keep the psychos away.

I haven't had any problems with the garage at RM ever since I moved to Weasel

I like how the residents of RM have to leave their garage, blocked by cars and see a sign, "Weazel Plaza". Take the hint and move there already.

What are you doing in that roach motel when the apartment with the best view is right across the street! You would need a Titan to block the exit of the Weazel Plaza garage.

Garage camping is the worst.

I had one asshole staking me out at the Popular St garage because I had a bounty on my head entering the session. I ended up waiting it out just to deny him the satisfaction of an easy $7000 kill*, especially after he sent me a text after text calling me "cowardly" in Portuguese. Eventually I got a break when a couple lower levels stumbled through for whatever reason, and I was able to make a clean escape while he was distracted.

*The downside to garage living is only having one exit to escape. It's not helped that the Popular ST garage opens to an alley with of bins perfect cover if someone wanted to grief you leave your garage.

I own both... Not sure what your hinting at though.

ot: I park all of my trucks in that garage and I never have a problem coming out of that garage even if I scratch it up coming in it will be fixed anyway.

At least a sandking doesnt glitch out and flip over and get heavily damaged while leaving the richard's majestic apartment...

Used to own a garage that had a door so small, the door always glitched the hell outta my sandking while driving out. One moment im driving my Sandking XL out, the next the car is upside-down and looks like its driving sideways... :D
