Rolls eyes, another fool. They have not made a billion dollars profit but rather sold a billion dollars worth of product. That's before advertising costs, tax costs, share holder costs and plenty of other costs, shipping costs, game seller costs, after sale staffing(dlc/updates).

Now missions are getting more draggy and instead of challenge you in a better way, it gives you more chance to fail it.

 

It's time to stop having too much pride and just join random jobs and let people who are better at playing do more at it.

 

In addition, despite of the updates, I think the game has gone stale. Don't make GTA Online as your primary life activity. As long as it's not important to you, you wouldn't worry about not having money in GTA Online.

 

Now the question to OP: You have other hobbies outside playing GTA:O, don't you?
