They aren't going away. Ever. Even if you only sold rated M games a liquor stores and porn shops, parents would still buy them for their screaming larvae, because it's a substitute for actual parenting.

 

But I've found that squeakers become less annoying when you mute them.

Yes, they're quite annoying at sometimes, but I don't see how them riding "Chradders" and Rainbow Sandkings is in anyway ruining the game from you.

I actually take this as an enjoyment because I can mess with them and have the greatest time.

i think its hilarious/pathetic/sad/not right that people are defending the KIDS rights to play an 18 game, some of the arguements in here, people actually think this game was made for kids that still have bedtimes and probably have to sneak and stay silent when theyre playing at night

I don't think that the age is the problem itself, instead it is mainly the persons maturity in my opinion. The people who annoy everyone (including me) have little maturity and have most likely never played GTA before. Because of them bragging to their friends about the 18+ game, they need the most expensive everything. Hence the Cradders (Most expensive car + most expensive paintjob), as well as the Eclipse Towers apartments. And although I am also only a 'kid' (14), I do hate those kind of players, and GTA would be such a better place without them. They can, and sometimes do, ruin a afternoons gaming for me, and there should be less of them, in theory. But age limits cant stop much, and it is either all under 18's get banned, or nothing happens.

 

(Please don't moan at me for being under 18 and on this forum. If you care to read my posts you can see I do try to act mature.)

I totally agree with you. Immaturity is the real reason behind these people labelled as "kids". Obviously, you're more likely to find maturity in older people than you are younger people. An immature person sees that as a blanket rule and therefore labels everyone under a certain age as a problem, when the fact of the matter is, there are more people over 18 acting like twats than there are people under 18 full stop.

 

It's online gaming. It's like this forum. Anonymity breeds idiocy.

I think a lot can be blamed on the massively underage kids playing the game. They are the bane of society and it just absolutely sickens me hearing those high pitched squeaky voices over the mic shouting profanity and acting tough. They drive around in horrendous looking cars (chradders, rainbow sandkings etc..) and just ruin the game for the people who have actually played previous GTA games and are hardcore fans of the series

 

I mean, GTA IV's online had little features in comparison to this, yet it seemed like SO much fun at the time and everyone enjoyed it and played it for months upon months! Of course there were spoilt brats back then playing the game as well, but in comparison to those currently playing GTA V online, its no where near the same amount.

 

If there were no dumbass kids playing games they shouldn't be allowed too, I think we all would have had so much more fun in the game.. I for one know for a fact that I would have had at least twice the amount of fun on this game if it was't for those little sh*t stains. First they ruin COD, next im sure it was battlefield, currently GTA and in less than a months time it will inevitably be watchdogs The best i can hope for is that once watchdogs comes out, they migrate over there and leave me alone in GTA for a while in peace!

 

They need to make stricter laws to stop 12 year olds playing 18 rated games

I don't see why people bitch about this. Really. You just mute them. Problem solved in about one second. And then I single them out and track them down, kill them, and blow up their car. Lol.

The way they even play, and what they do online is terrible too, all they do is get in tanks and drive around in carppy cars and try to glitch all the time

Yeah. The kid can't even watch a decent horror movie and yet his stupid ass parents will let them play this game. It has a torture scene in it for crying out loud! My friends strictly forbid their children from playing this game. And that is good parenting in my opinion. They are great parents in fact.

I was in a lobby last month where I met a younger players and I would host RR to help him level up. Yes he was immature at times as you'd expect from a (I'm guessing) 12 y/o but what striked me was his appreciation for me helping him level up and gain enough money to purchase a property at Eclipse Towers.

And guess what... He doesn't own any chrome or rainbow coloured cars

 

Anecdotes aside, If it wasn't for them squeaking in their mic how else would YOU distinguish a 12y/o player from one in his thirties ? Just wondering.

Have to disagree with you buddy. A lot of the freezing issues have been related to little smell-bags glitching in certain cars and RGB combos. I'd also hazard a guess that they're responsible for an inordinate amount of the money glitching and whatnot.

 

It's not just a problem of meeting them in lobbies, it runs deeper.
