Ragdolling on GTAO?

We all know by know on SP you can press B or O in midair to become floppy and ragdoll yourself around objects and people. I still find it one of the funniest things to do.

So any idea why we cannot do it online? Or if we ever will b able to?

I don't know why they took it out either, was brilliant when you timed it right for a muff dive into a standing female NPC, knocking them down in the process

Knocking anything down in any process was always fun

Standing next to a group of Peds for a while before floppig onto them them all mid conversation is still able to crack me up. To be able to do it online would cause some serious fun

Yes. It's removal is stupid. It's not quite the same but if you jump from a medium high spot, you can fall in ragdoll.

yeah but at that height you should be able to roll out of most of those falls instead of just accepting the plummte.

I just want to take my online character and flop into and onto walls, peds, cars, just anything that is jumping height.

 

I may need to see a doctor about my jumping into things problem :-/

Stand in the middle of a road when you spawn into a lobby. Sentinel Guy will give you all the ragdolling you need. I swear, I've seen my character do some really acrobatic stuff when Sentinel Guy is around.

 

OT: Yeah, I don't see why they would have left that feature out.

Unfortunately for me, it ends with my character's death.

 

Most of the time I stay off the road when I spawn into a lobby, but sometimes I'll run out into the road to see if I can dodge him in time. For the last month or so of doing this every time he hits me I don't die. I have a tiny sliver of health left, no matter how hard he hits me. It's usually the barely moving car behind him that gently nudges me that ends up finishing me off.

Amazing how sometimes Lola can shoot down the steepest of hills, wearing heels, and keep her balance. Other times she seems to trip over a spec of dust and ends up sliding down on her face. It's amazing no matter what colour she dies her hair, the natural blonde shines through...

I've got random spawn on, so usually find my guy chilling i nthe hills or on a beach drinking, no risk of sentinals

 

on the other hand when I start to roll down a hill and my body flips over once every 1.5 seconds, I have to stop and wonder why my guy doesn't just get up rather then pretend to sleep

 

OT: it seems like the majority of people want it in, im just curious as to why it isn't. Could it be a problem on the tech side of things?

we i play sp that all i do, ragdoll into things, im sure they left that out lf gtao because people would have FUN with that and as you should know by now, FUN IS FORBIDEN!

I agree that is the engine powering it, but its no where near natural is it? If i told you to dive in to things, you would naturally move your arms up to protect you head, whether that be against a wall, wall, whatever. However what do M,T and F do? head first with a f*** it attitude, i love it

I believe its because euphoria works a little bit different for everyone, the way you would ragdoll is not the same as how your friend would see you ragdoll. This happens with moveable objects in the world like crates, its one of the reasons theres a lot more stuff missing from online. The boxes by sandy shores airfield are a perfect example, crash into them with your car and your buddy watching will end up with the boxes in different places than you.

 

They allowed it for falls because its a much less common occurrence and therefore doesn't disrupt the continuity as much.

I guess that makes sense, but if i saw you dive into a crowd and 3 people fell one way and on our system you saw them all fall the other, would it really take away from the overall laughs?

I'm just playing deils advocate here but i can see from what your saying it would make the most sense
