Secret Vehicles In Capture Creator (Example Maps Included)

Was working on a capture and found a way (no hacking or modding involved) to access several vehicles that are normally off menu. The full list of "secret" vehicles are:

Skylift Helicopter

Police Bike

Truck Trailer (Vehicle version, confirmed towable)

Oil Trailer (Vehicle version, havent confirmed towing yet)

Military Oil Trailer (Vehicle version, haven't confirmed towing yet)

Flatbed Trailer (Vehicle version, haven't confirmed towing or if you can place vehicles on the trailer yet)

Going to get some sleep and will post the how tomorrow. For demonstration purposes (and shameless self promotion) below are two capture maps that have one of the "secret" vehicles included (Xbox 360 Only):

Contend: ChipShot (Contend map where you have to retrive packages from police riding around on police bikes):

GTA: Haulin' Assets (GTA map where you you capture trailers using trucks to tow the trailers back):

As promised, here's the how to. To get this to work you have to place a specific vehicle, then pick it up to move it. This will cause the vehicle to shift to another vehicle. Here are the combinations (unlisted vehicle is on the left, the vehicle you have place then move is on the right):

Police Bike- Ambulance

Skylift Helicopter- Marquis

Truck trailer- Mallard

Oil Trailer- Shamal

Military Oil Trailer- Prison Bus

Flatbed Trailer Trailer- Velum

Note that all of the trailers are vehicle spawns, not prop spawns, and thus far all of the ones I've tried are towable. I havent tested if you can spawn them and then auto attach them to truck. I also haven't tested if you can place vehicles on the flatbed trailer and have them stay on.

Excellent work. Cheers.

How did you assign the capture item onto the police? So the police is driving around with the package and you need to kill him to take it? How?

On your first question, place the capture item on the actor and then place the actor on to the vehicle (The capture item will appear to be on the ground but will spawn on the actor. Also note that if you have the actor set to respawn, the actor will respawn with the capture item).

Second question- Set attitude to defensive and set the patrol range to wandering. Also note that there's a bug where any NPC with a capture item riding in a vehicle is treated as unarmed. They will only use their weapon if they end up on foot.

One update on this as I ran into some bugs with trailers:

Not sure if it's a permanent thing or a one time bug but for any sort of hauling capture, I'd advise you not to attache the trailer to a truck to start with. I was messing around with the concept yesterday and ran into several bugs:

-Making a trailer the capture vehicle then attaching it to a truck turned the truck into a capture vehicle
-The bug got worse as it then counted any truck I placed as a capture vehicle, even when placed from the vehicles menu
-The bug got even worse still. I deleted all vehicles then saved and exited to the main creator menu. Then when I loaded the map again placing vehicles became impossible. Selecting vehicles would cause the map to zoom out to the sky view, and then starting menu (with capture details, placement etc.) would load.

I came across a different type of NPC the other day, I think by a similar glitch. I don't remember what I did, but I got a "chef", who looked like a chef who would work at one of the food carts, not like a chef hat looking chef. SO maybe there's more hidden actors int he same way as there are hidden vehicles.
