GTA 5 Goofs

I was thinking about most of the inaccurate/inconsistent stuff in GTA 5, and I was wondering if anybody else caught them yet. Because of this, I was wondering if there should be a thread to document this kind of stuff. I'll begin:

*The Heavy Pistol from the Business Update can carry 36 rounds in a single clip with the "extended clip" accessory, which is way too many bullets for a clip of that size.

*The interior of Michael's house is inconsistent with exterior.

*Jimmy and other characters mention that Michael is 45, yet his tombstone in North Yankton says he was born in 1965, which would make him 48 at the events of the game.
*It is never explained as to how Trevor gave Michael is car back after "Bury the Hatchet"

*The soldiers at Fort Zancudo have army patches and other insignia, but they yell out "Semper Fi" and call themselves Marines

And that's about all I got, but I'm sure there's more goofs out there in GTA 5.

I'm pretty sure this already a thread on this. but ill bite Carrying every weapon in your pocket. The many car speed error's. Many of the interiors in missions not being open for free roam. Getting hair cut on,

Erhm this is not a thread boot things like that.

- LSPD males have rather different uniforms than them femme fatales they have.

- NOOSE are still reffered to some people as S.W.A.T

- One of the hispanic cops tends to load random ped voices rather than his own, so it will ocassionaly cause him to have a female voice.

That's because the Blaine County government is poor, and this is why LS county offered their services to Blaine.

Also bus stops in Blaine County, at least in Paleto Bay, say LST on them

There was a lot of contradictions with the in-game news reports and the actual choices player took in some missions.

For example, near the end of "Hood Safari" you'll cross path with a rapper, even if you don't shoot him the news report will say that he was caught in the crossfire, and yet to make it worse, the rapper himself posts a bleeter comment!

The same thing happens throughout the game, regardless of the importance of the character; Ashley Butler will still comment on Ron's LifeInvader's account even if you killed her, a man whom you stole his car in one of Devin Weston's mission will be listed as dead in the news but the same man leaves a comment on bleeter again, Doctor Friedhander will always be mentioned as dead on news report even while you're sending emails to him!

Also regardless of your choice for the game's final mission, news report comments as if Ending C took place.

Trevor will shout every insult he says if you somehow get inside his truck in "Caida Libre".

Was that ever mentioned in-game or is it just speculation?

It's mentioned on the radio that Blaine is poor, so that's probably why LS offered their sheriff department's services to Blaine.

Where on the radio? I can't recall hearing it on any news reports.

I don't recall hearing anything like that either. Nothing outside of Sandy Shores looks all that poor either way and despite it looking deserted and trashy, it still has a police station and a hospital. Someone is paying to broadcast the public radio and Paleto Bay looks fairly middle class.

Honestly, I don't think Rockstar worried too much about the small percentage of us that cares Blaine County isn't policing itself.

I wasn't aware that the game even featured any "clip-loaded" firearms. I was under the impression that they were all magazine-fed.

Please enlighten me as to where I might find clip-loaded firearms, OP.

I always found them synonymous with each other. After looking it up, the proper term i was going for was Magazine.

About the marines thing, it's possible that the pedestrian modeler never got the news.

I know they sometimes call themselves soldiers (you messed with the wrong soldier). Marines don't call themselves soldiers, they call themselves Marines

In "Complications" Michael states that the pistol is 9MM, but Ammu-Nation states it to be 45 ACP.

In "Complications" Michael states that the pistol is 9MM, but Ammu-Nation states it to be 45 ACP.

It's a mistake on Ammu-nations part, as the gun is based the Taurus PT92, which fires 9mm rounds.

The heavy pistol is probably .45, as it's based on the colt.45/M1911.

Where on the radio? I can't recall hearing it on any news reports.

It was mentioned somewhere. Probably the talk show?

I think it is mentioned on the internet.

They also let LS county dump their rubbish in Blaine, for a price.

A rather big bump, but something that worth noting, or rather something somebody pointed out in the comments of the video for this mission:

If Michael and Trevor are communicating via earpiece throughout most of the mission, why does Michael call him over the phone once Trevor gets the files?

He suddenly realized that his earpiece was nowhere to be found after he took the files. 😃

The white LSPD cop hair variant has a beard but shaven hair instead of a beard and hair like the other hair variants for the hispanic and black officer models.

Get what I'm saying?

How does Trevor know where Michael lives? Floyd just tells Trevor some names.

A good amount of missions end with the protags/supporting characters leaving their own cars at crime scenes and escaping in other ones. Wouldn't police or even any survivors be able to figure out who they were through that?

Lemoyne outlaw

in the jewel heist when you come up from the tunnel michaels van is coming from an area that would be impossible to come from. its that little body of water. also when someone you have their phone number for dies the number is not erased from your phone. and you even get some phone numbers from people and they are never used like mary ann. so at the end of the game you have a crap ton of numbers and half of them are a waste.

Too many to list, but here are some:

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD:

-In V, Trevor states that he has never been to LS, although in Online, which is set sometime before the events of singleplayer, he had to go to LS for the Series A funding heist;

-Even if you kill Michael's shrink he still send texts to Michael afterwards;

-While hunting with Trevor, if you send the images of the animals to other people rather than Cletus you can receive some funny awnsers, including from people who are dead;

-If you shoot Michael's house with Franklin before they met, Michael wwill still texts Franklin telling him to stop shooting;

-If you kill Ashley in Mr. Phillips, the news report after Eye in the Sky will still report her death from a overdose and still posts on Ron's Life Invader page, this applies to many other characters in the game that you have to option to kill or spare them;

-In Minor Turbulence(the mission that you fly the Cargo Plane) Trevor states that he will deliver the plane to some friends down the border, even though the mission's objective is to the Cargo Plane in McKenzie Airfield - NOTE: landing the airplane there is IMPOSSIBLE;

-For the mission Monkey Business, Steve Heines needs you to buy a Cargobob for the operation, even though Trevor can steal one from Fort Zancudo easily for the Merryweather Heist, which happened before the Monkey Business mission, in other words the Plaeto Bay score could have been avoided altogether if the story writers had to actually use their brains for that;

-Also, Trevor pays the online protagonist to steal a Cargobob from the same military base in the online mission Base Invaders, this mission is also set sometime before the events of Singleplayer;

-Trevor RUNS away from Franklin in the Something Sensible ending, we are talking about the guy that takes on the military to steal a helicopter, on the Lost MC, O'Neils, Aztekas and some other gangs just because why not, running away from a guy armed with a goddamn pistol just because he was his friends and all that loyalty BS? Well he didn't really mind to kill Floyd...

- The Ballas are "built" up as one of the State's strongest gangs, in-spite of regularly losing a lot of members thanks to the Online Protags, and the SP crew. Also, how the flying f*ck do the government find Merryweather to be good homeguards when they are constantly f*cked over by the same people who call for pick ups just to kill the pilot?

- The state thought that three guys in bomb defusing suits with small arms needed military armor support to take them down. But a tank just needs NOOSE on its case?

The Dedito Gae

Don't we have "things that make no sense in V" thread?

OT: Trevor has pizzas and Burguer shot boxes even though those places don't exist in Blaine County.

The delivery must have been long tho.

EDIT: He even says once that he can't have a pizza delivered to his house, not sure when, but he definetly says that.

Guns delivered from LC to Mexico in 24 hours, yet he can't have a pizza delivered in Sandy Shores. (he says this in one of the gun trafficking missions)
