Is it just me or is it harder to lose cops with 1.13

I just use Lester. f*ck dealing with those insane cops with the 6th sense

What really sucks the most if when Lester doesn't pick up or you accidentally pick the wrong thing instead of removing wanted level you click the one below it.

I do that sometimes when calling Pegasus I'll accidentally click a boat instead of the Buzzard

Yeah. Because Rockstars so effing accurate with the patch notes, right? They don't botch every patch, right? They love answering the questions after they sh*t out a patch or update that...oh...I don't know....forces you to pay the insurance when some guy blows up your car, right? Or some other huge ass mistake. They own it straight up and release a detailed statement. /sarcasm

 

Read Seawalls thread. He actually takes the time to verify and debunk their crap notes. Take a look at all the things Rockstar claims this patch fixed but has been confirmed as b.s. I love this game but it is a mess with every update. More to the point of the thread...I have been spotted 3 times under bridges by the police since 1.13 and that hasn't happened since....oh...like the second update. At least to me. Ymmv.

I love GTA Online but it just seems to me like R* want to make the game as less fun as possible - I mean why the hell did they have to make the cops harder - and yes when you hit an armoured truck now - cops spawn instantly where as before there was a delay and you have a chance to escape without being seen. I don't understand why they have done this

Cops were never a problem to lose, and they arent now. A good combination of driving skill and effective use of the mini-map to anticipate their moves will trump cop buffs every time.

When the game launched, if cops saw you in a jacked (ie non-PV) car they'd give you stars.

 

People have such short memories...

I like cops. They already took an extra star off, they might aswell make them smarter.

 

BACK IN HE DAY lol... There use to be 6 stars, now look at it. Dumbed it down for kids to have more "Fun"

 

Hats off to them if they made them smarter. I haven't played for a while so I can't tell really.

6 stars summoning tanks would be a blessing for Free Roam.

 

But twankers are R* protected and get upset if you suggest they have no skill (or dare to go into Passive Mode after they've killed you).

I'm finding evading cops much easier. At least up to 3 stars. 4 stars is a bit of a challenge, some times I can get away but sometimes I'll just phone lester like I do every time I get 5 stars.

I noticed it too, before the update cops could'nt catch up to me if I was driving my 9F but now they can.

The cops are the most obnoxious part about free roam. Yeah they're easy to lose, but typically you have leave the area to lose your stars. It makes it nearly impossible to have a good battle on foot with people because the cops come after everyone in the area, and since we're dying at different times, there's never anytime between shots being fired when they actually leave. They just stay there and continue to shoot any and everyone. f*cking nuisances is all they are. At least they're easy to mow down.

 

Regarding them becoming more annoying recently, I'd have to say yes, but I've noticed that for several months now. I can't walk down down the street without getting a star..

What? Today I played Crime Scenester with some people and after getting the bag, I hopped onto someone's Daemon and we lost the 3-star easier than before

Funnily enough the same.. Some random got on my daemon and I just drove around the sewers and the cops were lost quickly.

I also noticed it. I'm also pretty sure you get a star way faster than usual. You can't even punch your friend's face peacefully without getting a star now.

RS should just up the wanted level to 6 stars where the millitary steps in,but the number of players complaining will increase 10 fold :lol::lol:

People are aware that the more people with high wanted levels in the same session the less the cops come after you right?

 

If a Tank is rampaging around somewhere else it's a hell of a lot easier to shake a 3 star, I guess it has to do with how many NPC's the game can handle at any one time. If there's total carnage going on, sometimes you can walk down a street with 5 stars and there won't be a cop in sight. The one actual positive for Tank use...

 

On the other hand, if barely anybody has a wanted level it's much tougher to shake off the higher stars. I just ring Lester all the time.

My go to place if still in sight is always the tunnel on Alta street opposite my apartment. Such an easy getaway so I welcome the buff. Bought a 6 car garage in the desert...got a wanted level there and was like sh*t where do i go now! Helicopter in the end!

I think its to do with the car file thery stuffed up. Re z-type , 2wd sandking etc. If you can remember originally the cops were very fast (too fast), then about 1.05?? the cops got fixed. People are saying we are now back on the 1.00 car file and I bet we are back on 1.00 cops too. Its a mistake.

cops are a pain in my a** after the update. i played the other night just going around trying to attack some armored trucks, it didn't matter where the armored truck was there was 7-8 cops around at all times so you attacked a armored truck and die instantly

They're actually behaving different too, I drove past cops in my Huntley with 2 stars and they totally ignored me (like, I drove right through their 'cones' barely feet away), so either changing cars throws them off entirely or the window tints work or a combo of them.

 

I also drove past cops in a stolen car doing nothing wrong -although I think I was wanted in this car earlier- and got 1 star. I think we're back to 1.00 cops?

I cant say that I have noticed any difference at all. Still pretty easy to lose them from my personal experience.

Before when you turned a corner you would get "out of sight" of the cops and be able to go into your apartment - now you can't which is stupid considering people have been complaining about cops all the time. Perhaps R* are doing their best to bleed us of our GTA $ and make us buy cash cards by forcing people to pay $5k each time they want to have fun and make the cops go away for a few minutes

i know cop's intelegence is outraged even beyond than irrevelant ( for example : sometimes even when you hide subway , when you in their searching cones you will get spotted as if you was actually on their sight . they even follow you on map if you keep going through tunnel until you lose your trail )

. before i can't call lester to bribe the cop , i'm real pain in a55 for accuracy , automatic aiming , tires burst , covered blood , many gun wounds and car towed

 

this is what happen to underestimate cops from gta iv to v
