Is it just me or is it harder to lose cops with 1.13

Before when you turned a corner you would get "out of sight" of the cops and be able to go into your apartment - now you can't which is stupid considering people have been complaining about cops all the time. Perhaps R* are doing their best to bleed us of our GTA $ and make us buy cash cards by forcing people to pay $5k each time they want to have fun and make the cops go away for a few minutes

I've been calling Lester more often than I remember in the past... And Armored trucks have all been an instant 3 stars since the patch (what it used to be, but it was reduced a while back).

lol as long as I'm driving anything equal to or faster than my sultan RS, I can' own cops with ease whether its 3 stars or 5 stars, I've not had problems you just need to know the tricks to get on their blindspots and escape, I don't even need to hide out in my home or ls customs on most occasions.

Cops are the main reason I stay in my vehicle while in free roam. People tell me "get out of the car pussy" nah I don't think so bro you better blow me up bec I'm not getting out to get insta killed by cops then have to go get my vehicle out of the impound. Even in one on one deathmatches the cops interrupt it's complete bullsh*t and kills what little fun is left to be had. What's even more awesome is when the cops kill you, impound your vehicle and you spawn with a wanted level.

Cops Free Lobbies are needed ASAP!

 

disable armored trucks, simeon cars, store robberies, any that allow you to profit, give a lobby in which you can do freeroam battles without the cops harrasing you!

They seem to be on higher alert. At least I think. I thought they seemed more accurate too as if they weren't already supercops haha. But not really mad i like change. It keeps the game more interesting.

They seem to spot you ocassionally. Not sure if it's random or if there's certain specific areas they can magically see through but it's been like that as long as I can remember. Haven't been down there probably in a month or so though but I used to rob liquor stores in East LS and go through the sewers near the LS river a lot or use the tunnel entance on ALta St to escape cops a lot.

It seems that more spawn with lower stars with a faster response. And they appear to be on all the streets around you making a clean getaway difficult. I was thinking it was my imagination but its interesting to see others make the same observation.

I have noticed this. Pretty much as soon as hit an Armored Truck, I'm surrounded by cop cars and a heli. I've always called Lester anyway, so it's not that huge of a deal. I also don't even bother with the Agent Smiths of LSPD.

I've noticed it takes so much longer to lose 1 or 2 star wanted level. That's about it.

R* could have chosen many times now, with all these updates, to add the choice to have cops on or off, like GTA4's mp. They did not, and they probably won't, because it won't help sell Kush Kurds......... right ?

You don't need to buy anything to lose them anyway. it's not like lester demands real money or that the cops never stop searching for you like the III era.

if you don't want to engage, just run to the nearest LCS and you're done.

I actually found an insanely good hiding spot. I hit an armored truck. got three stars ,

 

Went to michaels garage near vinewood blvd.

 

Hid in the alley next to the garage door, up against the wall while on a motorcycle.

 

Surprisingly not even the helicopters spotted me.

I will use this hiding spot from now on.

The AI does seem to have changed, I wish they would actually increase their intelligence rather then simply buffing their already ridiculous aim bot skills.

Could this be related to the whole handling.dat vs. handling.meta issue thats covered in Seawalls Super Thread of Coolness? I have to think that if the cars have reverted to a preupdate state that its had an effect on other minor tweaks. Iirc there was an update that made the cops a little easier (I only remember because of the massive complaints in the opposite vein of this thread). Perhaps the issue that is ruinng the Sandking also made the laws arms long again.
